Interesting, but and if you take a look at other postings all around the league, you guys talk about whatever, whenever, so I doubt that would make a difference.

Well this thread is about getting the league running at full power, so I'd say that it's at least semi-relevant. I don't see a problem with talking about it here. We already have several topics about the missing leaders.

Hopefully, it won't be almost half a year gone before the missing leaders issue is resolved. I understand everyone is busy, that's life, but if you are going to commit to something, then please, do it to the best of your ability regardless. Gym Leader/E4 Member issues, The Online Stats need to be updated, Junk Account deleted. We have so much to do, so let's just get started.

It's not a matter of not wanting to kick the old members (although we don't) it's a matter of having enough new active members to replace them. There no point in having every member on-site be either a leader or E4 member. This is the problem I was addressing in the other announcement.

I understand that, but it's a matter of doing something proactive and solving the issues. Firefox and Lestat are interested in becoming a gym leader, but they are still challenging for badges as well. Grant it you don't want everyone being gym leader or E4, I don't as well. However there needs to be a strong foundation structured first. That's like saying, hey let's start a business and get clients first, well you have to first have a base of what you are selling, the location of the business, and so forth.
There are only two slots that need to be filled, Gym Leader and E4 Member. If you promote a gym leader to E4 status, then there will be two gym leader positions opened. We have to just put it out there to find out what's going to happen.

You seem to forget Ignore that alongside that, right now theres a crazy league member to league challenger ratio. Its (at my guess) atleast a 2:1 leader:challenger thats not part of the league members.
(by league member I mean gym and elite four)
Honestly, I think that, as desperate as we were to get active leaders again, promoting two leaders to the spots were a TON. And finally, I don't want to see another 3 person tournament for 2 spots (not to be taken as ripping on either new leader, infact I am satisfied with you two as leaders, but its rediculous to have something like that, and the odds of having two more good leaders in a tournament that small are slim- Extremely not to be taken as ripping on newer players, as I have not battled them yet or anything.)

Shark i see you point and i think the better scenario would be to have a full circuit. the leaders can challenge and all of that, but i thought about it and acted like a new member. i thought that not having a full circuit would appear to me was a turn off, before anyone says "we are a new site" but you just gotta think what's better for the site since we can have a full circuit.

Expect a significant update in February after I'm done with these English camps. This problem will be addressed. I promise we're working on a solution right not, but Pope I need you to be patient. I understand that you (and many others) want to continue your challenge, but there is also a significant amount of work involved with replacing so many people. Both Neutral and I have other things on our plate at the moment. I should have a lot more time next month to get on top of this as well as the inactive member problem.

Thanks for the status update, and I will be Ninja. Don't worry, I know you guys are hard at work on making changes, and it does take time. So, I will ease up, and my apologizes if I did seem impatient. I am glad I got the official title of gym leader however. If there is a way I can help with the deletion of accounts (if that's possible), let me know.
