On the way over to Iilac, A Rufflet happened to fly close to me. I easily captured it. I'll definatly use this.

Once there, we had to go through custems. It was really boring and there was a line. They had us put all our higher leveled pokemon away. Poor Sparky. He was hoping to come out soon.
Once on the mainland, we went to the professor and he had us defeat a few rodents. I chatted with Ninja on the way there on how we got our newest pokmeon. I'm glad a few familiar faces came with me here.. I just wish I remembered Nathan more. I captured one of the rats.. Patrat they were called. It reminded me a lot of when Zero and I cleaned out that one lady's basement.. where he caught Rattrap. Zeon and Ninja caught one too. Zeon named his Ratboss.. He seems a bit like Zero..

Once we finished and returned, Prof. Pine healed our pokemon. Nathan, Nate and Zeon had some sort of meeting, and I got bored of waiting while Faye and Mike tried evesdropping.. So I challenged Faye to a battle. I won. Mike was defeated by Ninja too. Then we decided to go to the next city. On the way we stopped in the grass. I didn't find anything I liked. Then we made it to the next city. Bridge-something... I went to the mart and sold some treasure, then decided to go off to bed.

Woke up early and went to the Harbor with Faye and Zeon. Faye seems off today.. Probably just not in a good mood or something.
We saw a cruise ship and some rich people there. A few wandered off into the city. We followed them idley. A ways into the city, a raggity man selling shells came up to them. He offered to sell them some. They refused. They walked off. Zeon talked to the Shell-man for a while, but then the rich man came back and tried to tackle the Shell-man. He accused the poor man of stealing his wallet. the Shell-man denied it. Faye said he was telling the truth. She tends to know so I belived her and the shell man. The rich man then sent out a high level meowth. We were able to take it down. The rich man ran off to call the police on the shell-man. The shell man decided to (understandibly) leave. He payed us 3000 each.. that guy had a ton of cash suddenly.. considering he was apparently poor.. He ran off and took a rowboat and rowed it out to sea.. with the Jolly Rodger trailing off the end. Did we help a Pirate? I don't know.. Most honest pirate I've ever met. Maybe Faye was wrong.. or Lieing to us. But neither of those made sence..
Maybe because she was off today she didn't pick up the lie. that was probably it.
No use worrying too much about it.. The past is past.
From there we went fishing. I got a few cool items and caught a staryu, who is now named Patrick.
Then we wandered into a route, where we defeated a few pokemon. Ninja showed up and Faye left.. Shes acting so odd..
Oh well. I defeated another pokemon and we headed north into the city again. Nathan showed up. Zeon heard that there were cries coming from a tower of the bridge to the north, so we decided to check it out. We snuck past a guard (With Ninja's help) and had to climb up a cable to the top. I slipped and almost fell off.. Ninja helped me back up. Hes a great friend really. I should try to help him out more..
Once at the top a few Murkrow were fighting a Swablu. I would have been interested in Swablu, but I had one already, and had no need for another. Those murkrow though.. those were cool. Ninja and I caught one each. Nathan carried the swablu back to safety. On the way back, while trying to evade the guard again, Zeon had his Zorua transform into Faye. What an idiot.. I like him less as time goes on. Ninja distracted him again and we went to the PC, where we healed it. Nathan asked for it to join him, and it did. Good for him. Then Nurse Joy paid us some money. Nate showed up.. I don't like him much either.. We then decided to challenge the gym.....

Ninja, Zeon and I beat the leader. Nathan and Nate lost.
Afterwards, we stopped at the mart, where I sold another star piece, and bought a few great balls.
Faye met up with us and we headed north to the Redgrove Village.
On the way we stopped in some grass. Dyna and I traned a bit and we arrived at the Redgrove Village. When we got there, a little girl asked us to find her cat. We decide to split up and look. Faye went east, Hakai and I went north.. and I don't know where the others went. We got lucky and found it. Ninja contacted us and had everyone arrive right when we got it down.

Then a bunch of pidgey attacked. Once we finished them all, the cat had run off. Bandit located it again. Faye failed to get it to come to her, but I succeded. On the way back to the village, I mentioned to Faye that I told her that I was a cat person. This proved it.

She paid us for finding her cat. We went into the pokemon center to heal our pokemon, and when we came out smoke came from the east. We rushed over, where we found some dustox, fleeing from the fire. We quickly defeated ours and moved on. We found the source, a tree in a clearing, infested with Larvesta. I was first to capture one, but after Zeon tried stealing mine. Luckily for him, he failed. I'd be rather mad if he stole it from me. Then I caught one for Faye. I laughed as Zeon failed to capture one multiple times. Eventually he ran out of pokeballs. Ninja helped him and he caught it. Ninja swiftly caught his.

We couldn't figure out the source of the fire.. It was so strange..
Then before you know it, we realized it was dark, and we were in the forest. I had Staryu Illuminate the forest, and Ninja had Ami help. With the two, we were able to make it back to the village, where everyone and the Mayor waited for us. He awarded us some money and a Redwood Medal, which I proudly put on my T-shirt.
Tired from the long day, I went to the pokemon center nad slept.

I got up and felt really lazy..

Rather than doing anything, I read the newspaper, and saw that there is going to be a local play going on sometime soon in Redwood. They are recruting people for it. I decided to drop by, and see if I could help out build the set. It turns out they still needed help.

My pokemon and I helped them, we cut them lumber, carried it to them, and helped build a few platforms, flats and a small house.

Then we got to paint. Dyna got carried away and started painting Turtle. It was a cool design on its shell. I decided to leave it, especially because Turtle seemed to like it as well.

Once we were done for the day I returned to the pokemon center for the night.

Entry 18- Loneliness

Damn, Damn, Damn. Today was one hell of a day. I can't believe I failed when it really mattered... I'll get to that later. For now I'll start at the beginning:

First, I met up with Mike, Faye, Zeon, Nathan and Ninja who had been in a gang war, Pirates vs Knights.

Then I met the pirate King. That was pretty cool. He gave me a big pearl, thinking I helped them in the war. He was a nice guy.
Then the police came to arrest him.

Me being me, I sided up with the law, but all my friends sided with the pirates.. I was confused.. Ninja and Faye aren't exactly the type of people who try to get attention from the police...

Dyna Blade got badly hurt in my battle against the pirate. The police wound up fleeing after a short fight.

Afterwards, I talked to the pirate king a bit more to clarify I was mainly doing it to keep my record clean. Faye seemed unusually interested in being a pirate and responded postiivly to the king's hitting on her.. with Ninja right there...

I rushed Dyna to the Pokemon Center, where the nurse healed it.
Ninjas Hoppip died, and Faye was a bit of a jerk about it, which sparked a fight between the two. Faye really was unusually angry and dark... Somethings definatly wrong. Then she just walked out and flew away. I was going to follow her but that fell through fast..

Ninja started outside.. I stopped him after a few tries and tried talking some reason into him. He refused to listen. He said something about having another girlfriend before that he ruined and "he was right." I wonder who 'he' is... He insisted on leaving without anyone following. With Ninja in a mood like that, I decided not to stand in his way. I did call to him to come back, alive, and without a bounty on his head. Hopefully he heeds those words...

While trying to figure out what was wrong, I decided to challenge a gym to figure something out. I lost even though I had a type advantage on the last pokemon....

This was an odd day... I started off by wandering out of the pokemon center only to run into Black, who was about to attack Mike and Nate. Once I recognized him, we followed him to Ninja, on the outskirts of town. Except it wasn't Ninja, it was 'Him.' He called himself.. Famine..
He essentially is everything I hate about Ninja, his murderous dark side. After talking with him for a while, I was able to coax Ninja back out by saying Faye was in trouble.
I'll have to talk to Ninja a bit about this some other time.

Then we continued following Black to this weird house, where I found a basement in a closet..
That lead to an underground area. Inside, we ran into this werid guard, who confused me somehow. I guess hes some sort of hex..

Then we followed the only way there was.. To this sort of observation room, that overlooked a training area. Inside was Faye. I was shocked to see her about, but then again, Ninja got about rather quickly when he was kidnapped... I saw her send out Joy, and have her kill about 6 people... That seemed so unneeded... With renewed energy we raced down the hallway.. where I turned off to explore a small room to see if there was a way to the training room. It turned out being a large storage closet.. with nothing on the other side. I then went to catch up with the others. I met up with them as they entered the last room, with this silent man in fighting Faye in it. He had strong pokemon, and burned and confused Ninja. We defeated him with some difficulty, but not much. It was a 5 on 1 match.
Ninja killed him.

I hate that in him..

As we left I agreed with Ninja's suggestion not to leave the building standing. He set fire to it and we left.

With peace seemingly approaching, I started my planning a trip back to Kanto. I really gotta finish taming this Kyogre, and it'd be nice to get away from this crazy country. I'll go in two days, and when I come back I'll talk to Ninja.

Entry 21

Todays the last day before I leave for Kanto... I was just wasting the day away thinking of what I could do once I was back home, when Ninja showed up and suggested we go help out a scientist friend of his, so we did. It was great- I ran into a Zweilious, and captured it. Thats was rather cool. I just hope this scientist friend is more responcible then the last.

When saying my farewells to the crew, Ninja seemed uncomfortable when I mentioned him killing people... I wonder if it has to do with 'him'. I'll add that to the list of things I have to ask him when I get back.

I bought my tickets for Kanto.

Entry 22 (Returning 'Home') (Make Up Session 2)

I finally board the ship and head back to Kanto.
The trip started off slow, but after wandering the ship for a while, I battled some of the people on the ship and got some training in.
Not much more to say aside from we arrive in Kanto tomorrow.

Entry 23 (Arrival) (Make Up Journal 3)

I woke up and battled some sailors and other passengers, but eventually, being on a ship caught up with me and I started feeling seasick. Luckily, before too much later, we arrived in Vermillion. I just got tired of seeing my lunch come back so I stayed in the pokemon center there for the night.

Entry 24 (Bonding with the Beast) (Make Up Journal 4)

Today I started bonding with my Kyogre. I decided not to nickname it. Its a legend, there shouldn't be any others with the same name as it.
Heres what I did. First I got a ton of food- fish and such, and gave it to Kyogre. It seemed a bit less annoyed with me. Then I decided I could try battling with it to bond with it. It didn't like taking orders with me still, but it listened some of the time. Enough that we never lost. (I decided taking a legend into battle with a trainer would be to shocking and mean, so I trained with it on wild pokemon, the strongest I could find in this cave I found on a neerby island to the house.
I hope it hates me less now, but I don't think I'm done bonding with it yet.

Entry 25 (Bonding with the Beast II) (Make Up Journal 5)

I woke up late today. I was worn out from yesterday.
Anyway. After eating breakfast and feeding Kyogre, I sent out my pokemon and they played for a while. It was interesting to see them react to Kyogre, and Kyogre back.

After a while, I decided to have some mock battles against some of my stronger pokemon, like EnemyCrab and Galene.

At the end of the day I think Kyogre didn't hate me neer as much.

Entry 26 (Bonding with the beast part III) (Make up Journal 6)

Today was a dull, but important day. Today, while I was out training with Kyogre, I think it finally started to like me. Its now on the level as any other pokemon. I think its time to rejoin my friends. My detour on the adventure is over. I few back to Vermillion, delivered Mike's letter to a mailman and got on a ship heading back to IIlac. When I get there I'll fly around and find everyone.

Entry 27 (Confusion)

I rejoined the group today, and apparently Nathan died... Poor guy.

We decided to go ressurect him. And thats just what we did. We went to this town way up in the mountains, met an old fortune teller who sent us to Ho-oh. Once we got to the top I suddenly felt like going back down, so I did. I really have no idea why though.. Wierd. Once the others rejoined me, Nathan was back.

From there we helped the Fortune teller by going into the dream world. It was fun, although weird. It seemed normal at the time for me to be swimming through the air in a scuba suit.. while Faye was in a pink dress, and Ninja had this balloon.. and whatnot. Eventually we ran into a hypno that was messing with the place, and we defeated it. In retrospect the dream world was so trippy... but oh well. Off to bed... But hopefully not that crazy dream world again.

Entry 28 (Chaos)

The next day we went out to this saloon, and this fight just broke out of nowhere. I fougth off a guy who attacked me, and once it was over, the bartender paid us for calming it down.
after that we flew to some other town way off in the middle of nowhere, where a ton of miners rushed into town. Apparently they were attacked by a ton of pokemon. We went to investigate. Ninja and Zeon stayed on the surface while Mike, Faye and I decended into the mine. We immediatly were trapped, however, because one of the first pokemon we ran into used earthquake, destroying part of the tunnel, and hurting me rather badly. We trecked on and eventually made it to the bottom where I captured an Aggron.

After that, We decided to go to a bar to chat for a while. Faye and Ninja shared a bottle of wine, while Mike drank a full bottle of whiskey. I, however, decided to stay perfectly sober for now, and had nothing. Ninja and I chatted about my visit to Kanto. In the end Mike got so drunk that Ninja and I dragged him back to the pokemon center. He wound up puking on us both. We cleaned him up, got him some water and threw him on the bed and left him there. He should be fine though.
