I reexamined the battle, and I think there are very few swap outs that you could have done that would have mattered. for 3 of your pokemon I used earthquake, only two could be uneffected, for one meteor mash and the other two I used Ice punch. (disregarding my espeon). For that to have made much of a differance, you would have to switch constantly, and even then I would notice and try guessing ahead. I don't think swaping out would have made much of a difference in this battle.
