I have to say... It has to be one of the most basic titles they ever had since Red and Blue. Honestly, I don't blame them for naming these Black and White for 1 reason. They are trying to make up what they screwed up with before. How instead of using different colors for the versions. They used minerals instead. Now they are finally realizing since they didn't stick with colors until they truly ran out of colors. That it will just cause them to get stuck. As in, it causes them to realize "Shit... We screwed up. Why did we use minerals and gems until we truly ran out of color ideas?"

I disagree. 1st off black and white are not colors logically. 2nd it would have been to bland to just use colors all this time. I agree with them going back to basics but I do not think it matters when they use any name really. Also wasn't green changed to blue for some reason ? I think there is a chance names are messed with for us cuz of race.
The 3rd installment shall be Asian. lol my friend said that when I told him names.
In the future the remakes will be Pitchblack and Purewhite. Lol jk.
I can not wait for R/S/E remakes about 3 years from now.

Am I the only one who is seriously excited because of these new screenshots?
It looks like they're making Pokemon more modernized and "realistic".
Of course, we've only seen a few screenshots...
I'm just happy that they're changing it up a bit!

W8 so are they showing the pokemon you use whole sprite now? If so... Why? It's kinda cool yet unecessary.

No there was more info do about now. We got screens. I gotta say the Girl and guy maybe a bit more intriguing this time, tho I've never had issues with em. I wanna know if customization of any sort will be there. At least let us type battle lines like PBR. That is basic enough yet counts.
About the battle sprite - seems odd to change it NOW after like 14 yrs of just top half.
I want to see new pokemon too lol.

These are only beta screenshots and they still have me excited.
Just imagine what the finished version will be like!
I agree with Gene though, they do need to fix the battle sprites.
The entire view of the sprite is pretty cool, but the sprites are way too close together for battle animation to work correctly.
It would be awesome if Pokemon animated a bit more realistically for battle animations~
