hey i thought of something.............................. shouldnt the champ have to use the same team to face any challengers i mean the same pokemon he can train a new one with different evs but it should be the same team

The thing about that is then it gets too easy for people to know how to beat me. My goal is not so much as stay as Champion but as to give you a challenge to see if your able to react to anything. And gym leaders/E4 members are free to switch around their team as well so it doesn't make sense if the Champion can't follow suit.

its different u enter temporarily(how long differs) u got the spot by defeating the previous guy if u change it its like ur not the same guy who got the spot this is the only spot that depends that much on if u win or not

The thing is though everyone will know what team you'll be using since you used it on the other guy. That puts the Champion at a disadvantage.

yeah but the champ is the champ he should be able to beat off all comers with his team also if they challnge u with a team built speciffically to beat u then u just have to change to a team that i not as much like ur old one and beat him/her if its focused on just beating ur team a different team will be good against it

then u just have to change to a team that i not as much like ur old one and beat him/her if its focused on just beating ur team a different team will be good against it So your saying I shouldn't be able to switch my team....but if they make a team designed to beat my team I can? Your point does not help yourself. Changing movesets and EVs will not stop them from beating my team.

after u are beaten then u switch and re go for the spot this will cause the other person who's team is now "permanent" to be pushed out because his team is centered on beating ur old team

Then there's no point to that....We're sticking with the way things are now because then everyone would always be switching.
