The silhouettes for Gen 5 were just revealed on Pokemon Sunday.  They look a little...underwhelming. Hopefully we'll get full photos from CoroCoro sometime this week. I like the one on the left so far. If I had to guess, I'd guess left=grass, middle=fire, right=water. |

If I had to guess...
The left one is a bird-like pokemon. Assuming it's flame looking tail and the bit of red on the bottom, it might be fire.
The middle one is some sort of seal. Assuming it's a seal, because of the flipper like structure; this one might be the water one.
The right one is some sort of rabbit. Assuming it's a rabbit, I automatically think grass.

The upper right's two "ears" look like leaves to me so it's grass for sure. The bottom one looks like a beaver so water. And the top left one kind of has Cyndiquill's head with Charmander's body so fire.

The tail on the one to the left is tricky. To me it looks like a leaf (I think the whole thing looks like a banana so I went with grass), however it could be a flame (charmander style) or even a fin (like milotic)

I'm hoping that fire one is a bird. Fire/Flying would make a nice combo. It would also bring by a non-uber Moltres pokemon.

I really don't want the upper right one to be the fire type....I could see a whole lot of people choosing the Grass Starter so far if that was the case.....

you mean...like charizard? The only problem is fire/flying gets raped competitively. Both Charizard and Moltress have been stuck in UU becuase of it. I'm really hoping for some unique second types.
I would love a good Water/Electric. Fire/Psychic seems cool. I really want Fire/Ghost, but I doubt they'll give ghost to a starter. Grass/Fighting!

I want to see an Fire/Electric pokemon. That would be a pretty kick-ass combo. Extra resistance to water + magnet rise = ownage.

Lanturn isn't that great and Breloom has a niche, but a more well rounded one would be nice. Of all the types, I think grass the the most potential for an interesting combo.
I don't know why...but a giant, fiery, easter bunny of doom sounds like the most fun pokemon ever.
