Favorite pokemon?

Hey guys, I'm bored at work and you're all asleep, so it's question time! I want to know what your favorite pokemon are and why. You can pick no more than THREE. Obviously if you have less than three that's ok. Also please say WHY you like them. Here are mine:


Gengar: The original ghost. Ghost is one of my two favorite types (I can never decide between ghost and dark). I love the huge mischievous grin and the big eyes on the dark body. Also, Gengar kicks ass. Slightly less because of all the priority moves in Gen 4, but he's still a huge competitive threat.


Umbreon: I'm a night person, and I love star gazing and looking at the moon, so of course I love the pokemon the is the night sky incarnate. Umbreon's design is so sleek and solemn. One of the best looking pokemon there is imo. In battle, Umbreon may not be overpowering, but he get lots of unique and fun moves to play with. He offers great support rather than flat out power.


Houndoom: I really like studying mythology, so having my own hell hound in Gen 2 was something I couldn't resist. I've used him in nearly every generation he's been available in. Unfortunately, his stats let him down a little bit, but his excellent offensive typing and move pool make him a power house in UU and a real threat to slower teams in general.

Well I'm gonna take a rough stab at this.


Salamence: What can I say? I've always used Salamence and it's been helpful to me on Wifi-Battles as well. Without Salamence, I wouldn't have been able to make my mark in the forum. (You know what I'm talking about Austin )


Scizor: Ah yes, Scizor. Another helpful companion in both the game and Wifi. I love his incredible strength and his great resistances to many thing. Not to mention his strong stab moves and abilities. Also, he was my most used Pokemon back in the good old Gold and Silver days.


Crobat: What's this? A new member that his quickly risen to the ranks of awesomeness on my team? But seriously, I had no idea I'd be using Crobat. But each time I used Crobat, it's accomplished so much and helped me turn the tides on so many battles. I've decided to even use him in my next playthrough when I do one. (Soon)

[Sir Derpington III]

Sceptile: He is the most godly starter pokemon there is. If you don't agree, you aren't using it right. Seriously, take a look at this thing. How could you say it's not a beast? It's been my favorite ever since I started with Treekou. It's never failed me, I don't use it in my competitive team though.


Deoxys: Easily the best legendary in the game. Ever since I first caught this thing way back in emerald version and started using it.... I just love it. It can learn so many different moves. If you decide to make this thing Defense or Speed Form, it's all over, nuff said.

[Silver]

since i can't get any pictures of the mon it i will just have to do without them.

Blaziken: he is awsome. if you say he sucks then GTFO he is simply B.A he can learn fighting moves and blaze kick. oh my god don't get me started ever since i got Sapphire and when ilearned blaze kick it was my favorite move, i would always use it even on the water guy it would kill his luvdisc in one hit, sky uppercut and dynamic punch are a greatt combo for it to know.

Shifrty: I use it every time i can because he is beast.... he can learn diffrent moves that you wouldn't expect and it's fast as a butterfly and stings like a bee.

Crobat: just started using him pack in D/P/P i have to say from a pokemon that i thought wouldn't be good..... he is AMAZING he singly handedly beat Aaron without me healing it.
I also thought that a posion type flying would be bad but it has it advantages.

Salamence: has Helped me in so many wifi battles and probablly wouldn't have gotten my E4 spot without it. it has great attack and speed with can kill in one hit

Espeon: lol, i'm more of a night person and i have to say i love Espeon, no matter how long it takes for the eevee to evolve into a espeon it is always rewarding

one) i love fire types (my favorite color may be blue but..............)
two) he just look s cool(a dragon!!!!!!!!!!)
three) his shiny form (nuff said)

also they fire starters are all very high on my list
and it seems that any pokemon that ends up on my team becomes one of my faves

Dragonite: the first fully evolved dragon and i use dragonite and it does damage

Sableye: dont know why i like it but it just kills in my opinon

charizard just looks like a dragon hes more of a lizard

Gliscor: I dont know why, but whenever I see him in battle, it just gives me that awsome feeling.

Charizard: He is and awsome looking pokemon and a very powerful one if at that. I loved him ever since Red version.

Gyarados: Need I say more?

personally i think that Blastoise is the best starter in Kanto because it can lear nice moves and can kill charizard and Venasaur

i think blastoise is the toughest as well cause out of the three i rarely kill it

but i like fire
its weekness is water
of corse it will be killed by blasoise
however it can kill many powerfull pokemon too
