When we have enough members. The gym leaders should take trainers under their wing like apprentice. So if a gym leader is busy or whatnot the apprentice can take over till he returns. You know how in the games the gyms have a number of trainers before you have to face the leader. We tried this on a site I ran back when D/P first came out. It turn didn't work. The undertrainers got jealous of the leaders and wanted their own gym. We had several people leave the site because they couldn't be a leader. Plus, if the leader was clearly harder to defeat than the back-up, people would wait until the leader was gone and challenge the underling. |
