day 8 is up. I'll probably play more today, but I felt like, from a narrative standpoint, this was the best place to stop. Anything else will be added to tomorrow's log.
I hope you guys are having as much fun reading this as I am playing and writing it.
I'd also like to encourage anyone considering a Nuzlocke run to do it! It is hard and extremely nerve-racking, but it's also a ton of fun. If you do decide to do it, make a log. I'd love to hear about it!

Steelix had earthquake. The only two pokemon I had who could hit him super-effectively were Houndoom and Empoleon, both weak to EQ. There was no way I was going to risk losing my starter. If Houndoom's attack would have hit it easily would have KO'd Steelix, but it missed. Trust me, I didn't want to lose him either, especially right before the ice gym...

Day 9 is up. I moved it into the second post because the first one was starting to take forever to load.
A quick note, I have some other stuff going on, so I might not be able to post everyday this week. I'm also at my least favorite part of the game and have been searching the underground for two blue shards forever...
Anyhow, I have a few days back logged, but post might be slightly more infrequent.

Day 10 is up. Sorry if it's a little dull. I promise there will be a gym battle tomorrow.
However, I've hit a major snag. My DS froze while I was playing tonight and I can't get Paltinum to work...because I'm using an r4 chip. My regular games still play fine (SS works and I can still battle), but if I can't fix the R4 chip I'm not going to be able to finish anytime soon.
So...I have two options, or rather, you guys do. The first option is that I order a new chip and then wait to have it shipped here. It could take up to a month. The second is that I could just finish writing the story without actually playing the game. Right now I'm in the middle of the Team Galatic showdown and have written up to that point. Form there I would jsut make it to finish the story.
Hopefully my chip will just magically work tomorrow, but if it doesn't what do you guys want me to do?

Hmm not sure lol. Maybe w8 for s new chip for pure realism. But if your good at writing off the top of your head and what not, write it.
