Hey, it's me again.
Listen P.L.O., I need some advice on how to make the perfect Flying type team. Ever since my incident with the Tournament, I have been less confident in myself and almost feel like some people might hate my guts right now. If you can give me some tips, that would be great.

No. I need to get a strategy together for the Ultimate Flying Team. I want to be ready by the next tournament.

Let me face your flying team then. I'll try to give some pointers from there.

The biggest thing is to look at your weaknesses and try to cover them. Flying is weak to Ice, Electric, and Rock. so Try to find flying pokemon with a secondary type that covers their weakness. Good examples would be Gliscor, Salamence, and Zapdos. Also...Roost is your friend.

I have a gliscor already. I took a page out of Miles's handbook.

Ok, you have members that are able to cover their weakness effectively. However, fly though handy offline, is not that great a move online. People can prepare for it while you use turn one to fly up, and then counter you when you come back down. You also lack any good recovery moves so what Ninja says holds true. Roost is your friend. Also, though individually each pokemon is great, they don't really cover each other that well. Sure Charizard was able to cover some of them with fire but that was it. Try to have them protect each other and support each other more.

since your name has Gyrados in it you might want a Gyrados, it sounds cheesy but also i recomend a Aerodactyl

That was a close match. My Gliscor does know roost, I just never got the chance to use seeing how you got that critical. I understand what your getting at with the fly thing, I might replace that with either roost or aerial ace. Now I don't understand that whole charizard bit.

You used Charizard well to block incoming Will-o-Wisps but that can only protect you for so long. And I hate to admit it but I was also using you as a chance to try out team combinations....Lol.

Hmm. I think I know what your getting. What your saying is that my team is basically formed by a physical approach. Charizard is the only one who came at a special advantage. Am I right?
