i was planning to play trhough all the gyms in hopes of getting a pop at the e4 however it seems my dreams will end as im unable to play mike or selya as neither of them have a team  so can i get a free pass on them or something just until there ready |

Mike I have contact with, Seyla I don't. I could see if Mike is ready. But Mike is about to go on vacation somewhere I believe so you better hope it's soon.

And here's the thing hectic, you don't have to play them in order. You can challenge any of the gyms.

No speed runs yet. Besides, you JUST joined a few days back and already have 3 badges. Your going full speed ahead. Also, I'm helping Mike make his team.

haha i guess your right shark but i like to get things done = D no rush i supposem il lurk around and catch them as they appear got my heart set on an e4 or gym leader spot though thats why im pushing to get badges done pew pew |

It took me months to get a battle with all of them, you'll just have to be patient. That being said, if someone challenges a gym it should be expected that the leader respond and have a team ready. I think if a challenger has to wait more than two weeks, they should get the badge by default. Two weeks should be plenty of time to put together at least a half decent team and work around scheduling conflicts.

ninja is right but if they have a tight schedule and it's not the team then i shouldn't matter about the 2 weeks

I can understand scheduling to an extent, especially if it's just a busy time of year. But I think accepting the position of gym leaders implies a certain amount of availability. If your busy for weeks or even months maybe you shouldn't be a gym leader...
I'm not saying we need to demote anyone, but it is kind of hard to get eight badges. Maybe we could come up with some other kind of solution to help things flow a little bit more smoothly. I feel like the site is somewhat discouraging to active battlers because scheduling and getting matches takes a lot longer than it should.
