Nope! You can use an online one. Again, just google "free dice roller" it shouldn't be hard to find one that lets you roll odd numbered die. A lot of the rolls fall into the hands of the GM, which James will be handling for our first game.

I you do want to buy your own, I think you'll need a d4, d6, d10, and d20.

I also think it's a good idea if we decide what classes we want to play and what level we want to start at. That we can start making our characters. We need to make sure we have a diverse group. Personally, I'm planning to go for Psychic with the advanced classes of Healer and Influencer.

Shark: I put the picture of your dice rather than the link. I hope that's ok. Like Neutral said, we need to be careful not to advertise. I think you would have been fine, but better safe than sorry.

Have you decided on what class you'd like to play yet? I thought that maybe at least you, James, and I could try to get an initial session this weekend if you're both ready. Then if Darkfire, or anyone else, wants to join they can hop in with a character at an equal level to ours.

@james: I was thinking level 3 start for our characters with a level 5 non-legendary starter of our choice. Is that ok with you? You're our GM so ultimately it's your decision. If you ok it I'll put my character info up so Shark can see what he'll need to do to make his.

Thirdly, I think (without many spacifics on the game and how levels work) 3 and a lvl 5 starter sounds like a good starting point to me.

Yeah I think the first game will take a little while because we'll all have to figure out how everything works. I'm planning to keep the player's guide opened at all times so that I can search it when I need to.

Ok let's figure out how we want to communicate. I have Skype already and we could use a chatroom there, or we could use another messenger. What do you guys have and what do you want to use?

I got AIM, MSN, Yahoo, can get Skype (have been planning on it actually, but haven't gotten around to it).

Also I agree it would be a great idea to keep it open. Also the dice program (obviously) and I'd probably have a notebook with me, kuz I may doodle, take notes, ect.

Also I don't know if it would make a bit of difference but I have a microphone but no webcam.
(I don't think skype requiers, but the mic may come in handy.)

I think Skype is our best bet. I had MSN once, but I don't even remember my username or password. It's ok that you don't have a mic. I think we'll probably do it through chat. That way we can have a written log of what's happened.

I'm going to post my character soon in a new thread that we can use to log the story.
