 Good Evening fellow Pokemon Trainers. My name is Pope. I have passed by this website a few times, and I like how it is organized and structured Neutral, and I wanted to say great job to you and your administrators for creating this virtual environment. I am a old school Pokemon trainer, like I am sure some of you are, I have been training and raising Pokemon since I was 16, and I am now 28 years old. I have always wondered if anyone would come up with something incredible as this, and look like I have found those that love Pokemon just as much as I do. I look forward to great battles with all Pokemon trainers, Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and hopefully the Pokemon League Champion. I have read up on some of your rules and regulations, but I am new so bare with me. How does one go about becoming a Gym Leader or Elite Four Member? Please help when you have the chance. Again, thank you for allowing me to register and I look forward to the challenges that lies ahead.

Thanks Silver! I read your posts and Elite Four background. I look forward to having a battle with you someday once I have earned all Eight Badges of course. It is a pleasure to meet you though.

Welcome to the forum. If you wish to battle me, (or Neutral) MSN is probably the best way for either. Neutral has a tendency of only being able to focus on a few things at once, and currently this website isn't one... But he isn't hard to bring back, especially for a battle.

Hey thanks fellas, and I will definitely keep this in mind. I know everyone has lives like we all do, but I like to make time for Pokemon battles. I read up on both Shark and Blaze, and you guys seem tough definitely. I am still training and preparing, so I know where you are coming from Blaze, lol. If you guys don't mind can I take down your friend codes@ Blaze and Shark? Appreciate you guys taking the time out to talk to a new member on here. I will definitely be making challenges to both of you though in the near future as I know it will be tough. I was curious as to how one becomes a gym leader or elite four member? Shark: I will try to get on MSN, I am mostly on Yahoo though, and on here now. Have either you or Blaze received any challenges lately? |

Thanks for the advice as well Darkfire006, but I am a patient trainer and I want what they have, lol. I am just wondering however is there a way to become a gym leader or member of the elite four on PLO. I read some of the rules, and I saw that being a member of the elite four member if you beat them is crossed out which I do understand the reasons by behind it because it would throw the consistency off and that's too much. However, maybe a system can be created for a challenger to become a gym leader or elite four member (mind you I haven't check everything out yet, so if this is created already then ignore this). I think that would be awesome because I know trainers have always wanted to belong to a league that allows you the opportunity to become either gym leader or elite four member. I would just like to know the criteria, it's good to have options other just being the Pokemon League Champion. Thanks fellas.

I don't want to be a dick, but please try to avoid double (or triple) posting. We all do it from time to time, but unless you really need to, please try not to.
Anyhow, here's how the gym leaders are selected. If there is an open gym spot we will usually hold a tournament. Any non-leader may enter. The winner of the tournament is then given the spot. Don't worry, if there is a spot opening, everyone on the site will know about it. Elite four members on the other hand, are appointed by someone high up on the command ladder. Only members who have proved their battling skills stand a chance of being E4. The current E4 are still pretty active on the site, so don't expect them to be replaced anytime soon.

No you're not being a dick, lol. Believe me, I am a humble trainer, but I will tell you like it is if I do feel like someone is being a butt or a little too sensitive to me, lol. But you're fine NDS. I do forget sometimes when I get multiple people responding to me, but no harm no foul though. Thanks for the information NinjaDeathStrike.

Well, I can give you my FC...but my whole Fire Team was erased, because I wasnt thinking when I was deleting my old file (Me and my damn mistakes. I swear, if my hair was blonde...I would be perfect for the job!) Ill get the FC soon.

@ NDS - Well just let me know if you guys want another gym leader, I am sure
others want to be a gym leader,as well, but we shall see. But, I am
still training a bit more since I can tell you guys mean
business in Pokemon Battles.
@ Blaze - LOL, I have my blond moments too, so don't fret. I figured you
would have to get a new friend code starting over I'm sure. So,
when you are ready, let me know if you want to battle. I am still
making preparations as well.
FYI: I hope you guys DO NOT make Garchomp a Uber because he isn't. I have seen Garchomp beaten down at times, and he is a regular Pokemon after all and NOT a legend, so I don't think that's fair at all. It just takes strategy and strong Pokemon to beat it, that's all. Just my opinion.
