$250 really isn't that bad. It's an awfully powerful piece of equipment. I'm probably not going to get it right way, but I'll definitely be picking it up once there are some games worth playing.

Ive been following everything about it since E3 seriously it's not that expensive. Why? Because it is the portable comparision to the succesor to the Wii, meaning it is the next generation of gaming. As well as the fact that presents new (doesn't nintendo always?) aspects to the gaming world. Oh and it has a remake of OoT...

It was $130 for regular DS, $150 for DS lite. I hear that it will only be $200 for 3DS on the US releace.
Also, Mike, I can lend you OoT if you want. I have it for gamecube and N64
