Says on Nintendo's site that $249.99 is the official suggested retail price. Most of the places you can pre-order it from are selling it at that price. I still think it's worth the price even if it is more than the NDS was when it came out.

I have a regular one and a 3DS XL. XL version's more expensive, but fixes a good few problems with the regular one.

I don't know if it's my 3DS or wifi, but I can only connect to wifi with my Pokemon White cartridge only
