Welcome trainers! Your very own adventure is about to begin. This is the world of pokemon. A world where anything is possible. The year is 1891 and Japan is in the midst of a great change. The country is modernizing and many people are struggling to find their place in the new world. Japan has seen a large influx of foreigners and it's ports are opened to the world for the first time in it's history. As the cities develop the old ways are dying out. Many people have cast aside honor and family for a chance at profit and advancement. It is during this tumultuous time that your story will be told. Will you strive to preserve the old ways or will you push for advancement? Will you fight for others or seek fame and glory for yourself? Will you stand strong against the trials before you or will you pass namelessly from the pages of history? Who will you become? The choice is yours. Good luck trainer.

Pewter City experiences a massive blackout after a wild Zapdos passed over the mountains, frying the circuitry . The pokemon center is in urgent need of power. Fortunately, the city has a backup wooden hydroelectric plant on the outskirts of Pewter City.
It is your job to generate electricity for the town to use while the system is being repaired by city electricians.
(Note that the town uses old-fashioned generators to produce electricity) Find some pokemon to provide the city with the power it needs.
