Bio: Having lived most of her life in the wilderness among the wild pokemon surrounding Blackthorn City, Faye grew alone with a resevered nature toward other people, but with a deep love for the pokemon of the world. One day, however, a secret organization invaded the forest that was her home and burned it down systematically sweeping away any pokemon that had lived there. The organization found her, and took Faye under their wing as a recruit where she learned the skills of the organization all the while planning her revenge on them for destroying her home. Faye escaped one day with a pokemon that, out of chance, had been listed for the experimental catalyst project. Many pokemon that were submitted for the procedure never survived. Journal Entry #1: Stayed the night at the Viridian City Pokemon Center.
Caught Silversbane the Wingull.
Nathan is there as well. Journal Entry #2: Woke up and explored Viridian with Sean and Nathan. Nathan left just before Sean and I saw Prof. Cherry. He sent us out on a task to Viridian Forest. Ran ahead of Sean. Battled Mikey and won. Battled jerky trainer and won with Black KOed. Watched Sean battle a trainer. Went to search for pokemon with Sean. Sean found a Paras and caught it. Found a Surskit. Battled it. Silversbane OKed. Sean caught it. Sean searched. Found female combee. Battled and caught it. Went back to Viridian and healed pokemon. Went to Pallet Town and entered lab. Completed quest Etnomology. Traveled back to Viridian Pokemon center, cleaned up, and stayed the night. Journal Entry #3: 4 January 1891 Today, Nathan and I set out to Viridian Forest to train before my first gym match. We traveled deeper into the main forest. I went off into the grass and faced off with a Caterpie. I won. We went off onto a side path. I shook a tree and a Scyther came out. I battled and caught it with sheer luck. We proceeded further. Black tried to warn us, but it was too late. Two Kricketune attacked us. I sent out Chance to deal with the second Kricketune. We fought off the first when a third came out and attacked. I sent out Silversbane. We attacked the second Kricketune when a Fearow sweeped out of the sky to whisk it away. I felt for the Kricketune and threw a pokeball at it. I caught it. The Fearow was enraged however, and it attacked. I sent Silversbane with Brine to deal with it. Nathan and I defeated the other Kricketune and Fearow. Chance was knocked out and Jerry and Blaze were hurt badly. I returned all my pokemon except Black. Upon which point, I met Zero. He challenged me to a battle and I accepted. I knew he was testing me, but I was also testing myself with this as well. We returned to the pokemon center and got our pokemon healed. I went outside then followed by Nathan and Zero. Zero sent out Zel, a combuskin. I sent out Chance. I knew there was a type disadvantage, but Chance had Quick Attack. Any damage was good damage. Chance did use Quick Attack, but almost died when Zel used Flamethrower on him. I moved him inside of the Pokemon Center and asked Nurse Joy to heal him. I had to be strong. Afterall, the battle wasn't over yet. Zero seemed a bit surprised by this, but went along with it. I sent out Swarm. I wanted to see if he could do something, but no. No luck there either. Swarm wasn't hurt as badly because Zero went easier on it. I sent out Silversbane. Now it was going to get interesting. Silversbane used Brine on Zel and took out a massive amount of HP. But Zel used Double Kick on him tiwce and it was over. Black was up next. Zel used Blaze Kick, but Black's ability absorbed the damage and he used Smog. Ending the battle. I was keenly aware that Zero could have killed my entire team. He had let me win, and I hated that fact. I would just have to get stronger. For my pokemon and myself. Sean and this guy in an orange shirt showed up as we were having lunch. Ninja also showed up. He was a fellow trainer from Johto. After lunch, I headed out for the gym with Zero, Ninja, and Nathan. I took on a trainer before the leader to test myself and train Silversbane a bit more. I healed him with my potions, then headed off to challenge the leader. She filled me in on the details of challenging gyms. We battled. Silversbane took out her first two pokemon. She sent Smeargle who took out Silversbane with a thundershock. I sent Chance. He did little damage at first but avoided nearly all damage from Smeargle. Chance defeated Smeargle with a critical quick attack. I won. I went off to the pokemon center again. After getting my pokemon healed, we all headed off for Saffron. Black made friends with Whisper. I was glad to see this. Ninja showed me his Mightyena, Nite. But...when I tried to pet him, he bit me. It hurt a whole lot. I was sort of used to being bit from the early days with Black when we weren't on the most friendly of terms. Black had snapped at me a lot. I still bear the scars on my arms and hands. Those were dark days for both of us for sure. We followed Zero to the battle institute. He wanted something taught to Gible for an outrageous sum of money. He ever so gracefully declined, and we all headed to the pokemon center. I got Nurse Joy to patch up my hand while the others set off to go to sleep. Journal Entry #4: 5 January 1891 Dear Journal,
Today was full of excitement. I met up with Jans, Nate, Zero, and Ninja. We went off and saw this harbor worker who told us about a sea monster. We met with Pete, an old drunken sailor. I liked him. He took us out on his boat and we set off. Everyone talked for a bit, and then a monstrous Octillary and Tentacruel came out of the water! Jans, Nate and I took out the Octillary with Ninja and Zero handled the Tentacruel. Zero caught the Tentacruel actually. Crazy guy. We headed back and I talked to Ninja about...the incident. Well, part of it I suppose. I could FEEL the others eavsdropping. We arrived back in port. Jans and Nate had to take off after we got our reward from that cowardly mayor. Zero, Ninja headed for diglett's Cave afterward but Officer Jenny called us over. She told us Oni were in the cave and we went over to stop them. Ninja scouted it out and Zero let out Kraken as a distraction. Two thugs ran for their lives. One was thrown by Kraken. We went in and Ninja fell to a trap. I tried to help him...and was also rewarded with a trap. Three thugs came out. We battled and fought them all. I took a bowie knife from one. He wouldn't be needing it. We proceeded furthur in and met with their boss. He wanted to talk to me.

After we'd gathered the thugs up, we went back to the police station. We got our reward and went to sleep. Journal Entry #5: 6 January 1891 Today I met Mike. Mike is Mike. I followed people around and went to bed. Journal Entry #6: 7 January 1891 Today I met up with everyone at the Viridian Forest. Except that is, Ninja. We trained for a bit. A swarm of Beedrill attacked Mike, Sean, and Nate. It was funny. We went back to Viridian and chatted. Ninja actually came up to say hi. It was really good to see him again. But...it's obvious that I'm too weak as of now. I need to get stronger...And I will. I have to. As quickly as possible! So, I've set off with Zero and Nate for Celadon. We went to see the sacred tree but could not stop the Oni from burning it down...Rr...We went and turned in the thugs to officer Jenny and got a reward. We failed. It stung bitterly, but what surprised me was Zero. He called himself weak. He hates it. ...I understand the feeling...but we'll get stronger, and maybe one day, destroy the Oni. We got on the train to Saffron where it was robbed or tried to be. We took out our anger on the Oni there. They ran for it. Made me almost feel better. Almost. |

Journal Entry #7: 11 January 2011 Today, I met up with the gang in Fuschia. We took down the Dark Dweller in the forest, and met up with Ninja outside. We went to Pewter so I could get my badge. I challenged Rochelle, Zero's girl friend (I was surprised.), to a 3v3 match. I sent chance out first, but he got KOed on the first turn. I sent out Grave next. He took two hits, and was severely injured. I sent Demi. My last pokemon. She took out Kabuto, and Aerodactyl. She faced down Anorith, avoided his last attack and won the battle! We took Grave to the PC. Nurse Joy couldn't save him...It was my fault. I'd failed Grave...We all moved back to Fuschia where we found a cruise ship hijacked. Jans wanted to storm the ship. Again, brains? Where'd they go? We devised a stealthy plan to disable the guards. Zero and I climbed the anchor line and got aboard. We found a way to let Ninja and Jans in, then sent out Demi to scout. We took out a guard, and checked the wheel house. I sent Demi in there to hypnotize them. We had to fight the other, but we took out all three without raising an alarm. Zero and I stole their uniforms and put them on making our way to the captains cabin. We heard some sort of commotion from below. Looked like our cover was blown. We talked to the Oni inside the cabin and saw he had a girl tied up on the bed. We were about to leave, when...I tried to punch him. I missed and only suceeded in alerting the guy. He grabbed a mace and I whipped out my bowie knife. Demi and I took him down as well. I sent Demi with Zero and stayed for a bit to comfort the girl, leaving Chance to protect her. I caught up to the others, where we proceeded downstairs only to find ourselves caught. Our ghost pokemon attacked the man, but...he told the people indoors to shoot. Thugs came out of the hallway doors. There were two gunshots. We were left to battle the thugs on board...I took down the two thugs that came for me and their pokemon...but Ninja succumbed to the blows of the thugs. I leaped to his defense...but...I...died... Journal Entry #8: 12 January 2011 I woke up in an barren desert that seemed to go on forever. Everything hurt, and I looked around for some sign of life. I wandered. Who knows for how long? It felt like decades, but I was never tired enough to just collapse. So, I kept walking.
Eventually, I came upon two figures in the distance. They were glowing. As I approached, I recognized them as my parents. They greeted me warmly. I was a little surprised to see them. They told me that I had to find my lost pokemon and seek out the Gatekeeper. They left me alone, and I wandered again. There are no words to describe just how alone that place made you feel. After what seemed like decades, I saw another figure in the mist. I hoped it was one of my pokemon, but as I got closer, I realized it was Ninja! I was so glad to see someone else.
He told me that he'd met his grandma the same way I'd met my parents. So, we went in search of our pokemon. Once found, we passed into a very misty area. It gave me the chills. It almost reaked of Death. That was when we met the gatekeeper. It was a...horrible black apparition. We both had to pay our price. A truth and then the life of one of my beloved pokemon. It sickened me, but in the end, I had to choose. Sparkz went off with Gilgamesh into the mist.
The gatekeeper took us through the mist where we met with our worst nightmares. We did not succumb to their temptations and eventually made it to an endless meadow. I was sure this was paradise. Anything we wanted was created spontaneously. Ninja and I talked until Celebi appeared and asked us if we wanted to leave. We both said yes. Soon, the gate that had been there since our arrival lit up and we passed into Celebi's Forest. It was beautiful there. I felt at peace. A wind blew, and suddenly, we were in the Viridian Forest.
We all went to the Pokemon Center to get some drinks. It felt a bit odd to be in the world of the living again. Everything seemed so...concrete and precise. It almost hurt to look at everything. I thought about my next move while mourning Sparkz and reminiscing about paradise. I felt confused, overwhelmed...so much so that I guess I lapsed into a sort of shock. I was numb.
Sean suggested that we all go to Cerulean and participate in the fishing contest. We went, but my rod broke and I didn't catch anything. Ninja gave me his Magikarp, though, and I named her Joy. We set off for Lavender Town next at Ninja's suggestion. We visited the stonemason, Sam Jax. He was fairly nice, and he took our orders for three headstones. One for Gilgamesh, and two for Sparkz and Grave. We exited the hut, and saw men doing something in the graveyard. Ninja read their minds. They were not there to pay their respects.
Zero walked up to them. I almost facepalmed. Stealth had no meaning to the guy. Ninja and I hid. He came up with a plan. I snuck around and flanked one of the men. As a battle broke out with Zero and the man, Ninja and I struck. Zero defeated his man easily. As did Ninja. Black and I took out the other man while Sean took out the last. The leader we interrogated. Ninja was furious with him and aimed to kill the scum. I did not agree with this. I stopped him and Zero from killing the scum. Zero marked the man with his knife though, but I let it slide. We turned them in to Officer Jenny. Zero acted strangely.
We went to the mason hut, where we picked up the headstones. Jax gave them to us for free because we'd locked up those necromancers. We went inside the tower. Ninja found a tree and placed Gilgamesh's headstone there. I had Sean put Sparkz's next to it. It felt right. I found a window with a mountain view and put Grave's stone there.
We left after that. Zero still seemed very strange. I wondered if he was mad at me, but Ninja told me he thought otherwise. I just accepted it. We took a train to Fuschia next to get Chance back. We got Sally's address from Officer Chase, and headed there. Sally was glad to see me, and I was happy to see her as well. Chance, I was even more delighted to see. I had to hug him. Sally gave me a Dusk Stone as thanks for rescuing her. Then, Ninja, Zero, and I went to the Pokemon Center where we rested for the night. |

Journal Entry #9: 13 January 2011 Today, I met with Mike again. It has been a while. We went to Pallet Town and met with Mr. Kondo again. I asked him to repair my old rod. He asked for a fish. The man likes his fish. I caught a Magikarp with the help of Silversbane, and got a new old rod. That done, I went to Cerulean and took down the gym leader there. We went back to Pallet. AGAIN. And met with this weird guy named Raddan. We went back to Viridian. Again. Then, we all, Nate, Mike, and Radden, went into th forest because there were rumors of Oni thugs there. I was ready to dish out some payback.
Of course, Mike ran ahead and I had to track him down. He was in a tree. He likes trees. I'm not gonna judge. Five thugs came our way. I took on two while the others handled the other two. It was too easy. We turned them in to Officer Jenny and got our reward. Everyone turned in at the PC, but I woke up sometime through the night thanks to one of those nightmares I've had recently. I just couldn't get that place out of my mind...I'm so Sparkz.
I went to Fuschia next because I'd last seen Zero and Ninja there. Mike tagged along. We all went into the forest. Ninja even cracked a joke about that. Sorta. It was sarcasm. We went in and I tracked something...angry in the forest. I could almost smell Primeape. Great. Never did like those angry monkeys.
We entered into a clearing where we saw two Primeape tormenting a pack of Pikachu. We sprang into action. Zero's Masmagius annihilated the Primeape they fought. It was ridiculous. I sent out Chance, and Mike and I dealt with ours. The Pikachu gathered around us curiously. Ninja picked one to go with him, and I chose one for myself as well. The Pikachu didn't seem interested in Mike or Zero. I felt bad for them.
Afterwards, Zero wanted to go to Cinnebar, but I'd had a long day, so I turned in. I couldn't go to sleep for a long time. Instead, I thought about the future, my friends, and everything else that came across my mind. It still feels like I'm walking through the mist sometimes when I'm alone. I try to avoid that unpleasant feeling.
My plans...my whole reason for coming to Kanto...seems very distant...and detached. I'll bet its just the after effects of death making it seem this way. The Oni...I remember their offer even today....

I don't trust them one bit. I've got to find out more about their operations. My mind drifted to other topics. Black...Dance...Ninja's Mango. (I like the name.) Back to evil organizations...And as I drifted off into slumber, I fell back into the one place I would never truly escape: the mists. |

Journal Entry #10: 14 February 1891 Zero. Zero is the topic today, as well as something else. Something new. But first Zero. I found him with Ninja. The look on his face...reminded me of myself. No one needed to go through what I had to. Eventually, both Ninja and I managed to smack some sense into the guy. Ninja used telepathy to show me what had been in Zero's mind...It sickened me...I could never imagine doing something like that...Zero, what had you done?
Ninja suggested a plan. Something he was supposed to do with his life. He told us every detail he could think of. Zero and I asked a few questions, then we all went to buy new clothers. We went to the Pokemon center to turn in. I was hesitant. Only the mist awaited me. Ninja asked if I was alright with the plan. I had to tell him the truth. I really didn't know. This didn't feel like my divine purpose. I'd have to keep looking...wandering...I attempted to go to sleep. My nightmares were worse. I had to use Demi to put me to sleep again. That helped some. I remember nothing that time...except...a black apparition laughing its demented cackle... |

Journal Entry #11: 15 February 1891 It was warmer today, so I decided to go without my sweater. That meant I'd have to wear the bandages...Oh well. The burn marks would never go away. Nor would the scars from my childhood. Fending off wild pokemon by myself...Ah. It's my history, and I'm proud of it, but its best kept hidden. I had fun today. Jans, Zero, Ninja, and I all pretended to be super heroes when we talked to "Crobatman." His reaction to Ninja- er, I mean VOLTROS THE UNFAILABLE was histerical. Zero (aka Chompman) was laughing the whole time. I was Snow. It's so...lame...but all I could come up with on the spot. I tried to mimic the gatekeeper's voice, but...I think I just sounded hoarse. I had to laugh at myself. It felt good...The nights were not easier with time. Last night had been...especially bad. I hope tonight I won't have to use Demi...but I have a sinking feeling...that I will...Celebi was right. I'll never forget that place...Sparkz...and the images I saw...And now...Giratina...

Journal Entry #12: 16 February 1891 Today, I met up with Ninja, Jans, and Zero at the Saffron weapon shop. It was nice to talk to them all. Sean has become part of our plan now...I hope it works..We've gone to Cinnebar and gotten information from the gym leader there, Fudo. We learned where we might find the pokemon we needed. All except one that was. I feel odd. Detached from the others at times...It...it wasn't good. The mist...I saw it today. It was all around me...suffocating me...Until Ninja and Sean returned from their walk. That snapped me out of it. These nightmares...insomnia...sleep deprivation...am I hallucinating? I can't tell anymore...it felt so real...like I was lost in the mists....but this time...without Ninja there to save me from myself...
Well, enough of this. I've got to do something about these dreams and that'd be a good night's sleep. So, I'm going to try to sleep. If that doesn't work Demi can use hypnosis and if all else fails, there's always dream eater. I won't go back...not tonight... |

Journal Entry #13: 18 February 1891 I didn't go to sleep last night. I woke up screaming after a particularily bad nightmare, so I went out to the beach. Ninja must've gone to sleep by then. I stretched out under the stars and tried to go to sleep again, but I woke up every single time. I stayed up after that and built sand castles until dawn. After that, I went to Pewter where I met Mike again. Sweet kid. We took care of an Oni problem at the museum then I headed back to Cinnebar. I wanted to see Zero and Ninja. Unfortunately, going without sleep has its downpoints and as we headed to the Sea Foam Islands, I began to hallucinate. I saw the mist on the water. It was awful. We made it to the islanc and found a way into its depths. We met and fought Palkia there. We went back to Cinnebar afterwards. Ninja and I talked a long time. Avoiding these dreams were slowly but steadly destroying me. I'm going to trust Ninja, and sleep tonight. No matter how bad the dreams are or how many times I awaken from them, I will sleep tonight! For Grave...For Sparkz...and for Ninja too. I can't run anymore. I won't run anymore... |

Journal Entry #14: 19 February 1891 I slept. A long time because the dream was especially long. It started in the mists as it always does. I walked on and on merely because that was all I could do. Then, I...arrived at a place where the sky looks like a mottled bruise and the ground felt like a corpse. I knew where I was almost instantly. Giratina's realm. I heard moaning coming from up ahead. I saw Rochelle trapped on the ground with dried blood that seemed to have gushed from the open wound on her back at one time, but she wasn't the source of the moaning. I looked around. Two more bodies I couldn't quite recognize were here as well, but they were not moaning either.
I turned again and saw the source this time. Zero. He was on his knees. Blood was...everywhere. I tried running to him, but I gained no ground. I tried called to him, but my throat gave no sound. Zero grew father away the more I ran, but I couldn't stop. Giratina then appeared out of the mists. I screamed Zero's name. He didn't or couldn't hear me. But Giratina did. He laughed and lifted one huge foot...and brought it smashing down on top of Zero's head. Zero...he...
...
Giratina laughed once more and spoke to me. He bade me welcome, and said to enjoy my eternal stay. With that, he vanished leaving only an echo of his laugh behind and Zero in a bloody ruin. I fell to my knees, and screamed and screamed and screamed...I don't know how long I was screaming. The next thing I remember was waking up.
I saw Ninja's face as I woke up which was a huge relief for me. It had just been a dream. I saw Zero next too! He...was ok...I was so happy to see both of them...Especially Zero. We set off for Fuchsia and got on the train to Saffron. Then, everything...sorta...exploded. Zero was talking about getting Dialga on his team. Ninja and I weren't too happy about this comment. We all started fighting and it escalated to a point where I just had to leave. I went out on the balcony to cool off. Zero didn't realize what he meant to us. He angered one god before and nearly lost everything, even his own life. After what I'd seen...I just...couldn't bear the thought.
We got off in Fuchsia and the guys went to buy supplies. I sat on a bench being poor. Ninja came to sit next to me after a while of myself being haunted by the dream. He was angry. He got up when Zero came and let him have a piece of his mind. My anger was rekindled and I lashed out at Zero. I called him weak. And told him it was his fault Rochelle died. These facts were true, but also sort of low to bring up. I was just so angry with him. He sent out Shadow after this. He was going to hurt me in some way...but he already had just by sending out Shadow. Ninja told me to go. I hated that, but I did so. Not without one final comment however that earned me a glare from him. Ninja and Zero talked it out and we all went onto the train.
I went directly to the balcony outside. It had a sort of soothing quality. I was engulfed in remorse already. Ninja came to speak to me and pointed out some things I already knew. I'd gone too far. I regreted it deeply. Ninja and Zero went shopping again and I waited by the station again. I tried apologizing to Zero but...he just ignored me. I deserved that though. We went to Viridian next and entered Mt. Silver. We competed in a series of trials that allowed us one room farther into the heart of the mountain where we finally found the shrine. I liked Dialga better than Palkia, but he wasn't short on contempt for us either. Zero asked if Dialga wanted to be on his team, and Dialga laughed and said no. It was then we fought, but Dialga didn't like Zero's strategy, so Zero had to face Dialga alone. I had faith in him.
Zero, after a grueling battle with Dialga, won the battle and we gained Dialga's help as well in the coming battle. He kicked us out after that. We celebrated together like we used to. It seemed the rift between us had been repaired by the things we all endured in the cave. I apologized to Zero again after Ninja had gone inside. He accepted this time. I was truly glad.
It was off to Saffron next as we watched Ninja get his next badge. We went to the Pokemon Center after that. Ninja announced he was going back to Cinnebar. He really likes the beach. I don't like the city all that much myself, but I was too tired to worry about that. I stood before my bed for a long time...I could only wonder what my dreams would show me tonight. I didn't want to sleep, but I had to for Ninja...and Sparkz...So, down into the mist and murk I go. |

Journal Entry #15: 20 February 1891 Today, Zero and I set out for Viridian when we saw smoke coming from it. Dragons from Mt. Silver were attacking. Had we stirred up a hornet's nest while in Mt. Silver the other day? Zero went to face the dragons alone. I hoped he'd be ok, but knew he would. He's tough. Nate and I went to save the people of Viridian. We went to the back of the gym. I saw Wendy dead. She'd been so kind...I carried her out myself. We buried the dead and headed off to Pewter for the night. |

Journal Entry #16: 22 February 1891 The dreams haven't relented any. Each is horrible. Each disturbs me on a brand new level each night. I woke up this morning in Pewter, vivdly remembering the events in Viridian. I stared at the wall for I don't know how long, then got dressed and went outside. I met up with Zero, Mike, and Nate. We all flew to Saffron. (I gave Nate a lift because he didn't have something that could carry him.) We decided to pay the Sea Foam Islands a visit, but first we bought supplies in Saffron. After that, we were off. It was a nice flight. I've discovered that I enjoy flying. It's one of the better things to do.
We landed at the base of one of the mountains on seafoam, and we all raced to the summit. Nate and I caught an early lead, but we waited for Zero and Mike to catch up. Then, we were off again. It was a close race...but in the end I made it to the top first! That had been a lot of fun. We spotted a cave and Zero yelled into it. A roar answered him. Trouble. I followed him into the cave and we were met with two Machamp. Zero caught one and I took the other down. Two Oni came out of the back of the cave. Great...
We fought with them and, in the end, won. Zero wanted to feed them to Kraken when he finished questioning them. I couldn't let him do that. They were helpless...or...so I thought, but more on that in a little bit. I finally convinced Zero not to kill them. They rode with me on Joy back to Cinnebar. I addressed them and the older Oni let me know...how...unprepared I'd been. He'd had a knife. I should've guessed because most Oni do have some kind of weapon, but the fact still hit me hard. We delivered the men to Officer Austin and recieved our payment.
Once at the pokemon center, we had Mike healed as well as our pokemon. I sat down on the bench in the main lobby and stared at the gorund for a long time...I'd almost gone back today. Back to that god-forsaken place. I would've lost someone else, and it would be completely my fault. What was wrong with me...? I feel the question tearing me up even now, as I write this. I sat in the lobby for what seemed like decades. Staring and staring...until the mists came... |

Journal Entry #17: 23 February 1891 Today, I went to Celadon for a gym match. I took down the leader fairly easily. I liked her. I met up with Sean and Ninja after that and we began our search for Mew. We headed over to the police station, but a man stopped us. He looked very out of breath. He told us about how his pokemon had been stolen and how they were being abused. I burned with resentment. No one was going to torture pokemon and get away with it! So we went out in search of the boys. We found a fork in the road and a thicket. I tracked signs of disturbance into the thicket and snuck up on the theives. They were torturing a Spinda! I was about to charge in there myself, but Ninja kept me in check long enough for everyone to move at the same time. We took down the assailants. Ninja freed the two trapped wild pokemon. I used a super potion on the Spinda. Sean sent out Vespiqueen and made her use Heal Order on the other two pokemon.
I carried Spinda, Hate carried the two goons, and Sean carried the last one. We all went back to Jenny first to turn the thugs in, then found the man. He was so happy to see his Spinda, I had to smile. He wanted to thank us and took us to his home for lunch. His house turned out to be more of a shack. It would be nice to have a home to go to...We sat down at the table and the man prepared us lunch. Spinda roamed around. It was so cute. After we finished eating, we complimented the man's cooking. He...seemed to be waiting for more than that tho. It started to creep me out a bit. Shark said something about an old saying...which made me wonder...Then the man started to grin "mischieviously." This...was no man.
We introduced ourselves to it and I asked him his name. And...then he...my past...Mew...Mew was my guardian angel through all those pain-filled years. Gave me courage. Pushed me on so that I could live. I just...was overwhelmed. It gave me the Spinda. (I shall call him Fluffy.) Sean asked if Mew would join his team, but only complimented it. Mew..I wonder if it would ever...join my team...? .....Well it's too late anyway....We went to the Pokemon Center for the night. I was still enchanted by my encounter with Mew. So much so, that I stared at the ceiling until the mists came to visit me as they tend to do if I put off sleep...
Mew...thank you...from the bottom of my heart...For everything. |

Journal Entry #18: 24 February 1891 Today I met up with Ninja, Nate, Mike, Zero, Sean....A lot of people. I learned that Jans had died in his attempt to fight Giratina...The idiot...We traveled to Lavender Town to pay our respects to our passed pokemon, but we spotted two blue flames. We went to investigate...and...ngh...we entered into the graveyard after talking with Sam Jax. Every space was filled with traps. Some of which I could find. Others I could not. Zero was badly hurt because I failed to notice a trap...
Each gate of the graveyard had a guardian. There were thirteen in all. When we approached the last, we were separated. I met with a shadow figure of myself...my dark side. I know her all too well. That's who I was for the longest time...after the event. Have my convictions I felt so strongly then faded into the ether? I've...become soft...too soft...When faced with Black I could not kill him. I could not save myself. I knew it wasn't him...but...!
....
My will to survive...where has it gone? I could've ended that false Black. Killed him. And met with my own Black back in the real world...so...why didn't I? Is it because I won't let myself kill anymore? My drive for revenge...is gone...as would have been my will to live...if not for...If not for.....If not for Ninja. And Zero. They're the only people I have left...besides Black and the rest of my pokemon that I truly care for...My parents are dead. I grew up alone...What's left for me here?
I promised Ninja that I'd be careful. That I wouldn't die because of my softness. That he wouldn't have to see me dead. And I will keep that promise. I know how I'd feel if the situation were reversed.
....I'm so....lost...in this world...I feel neither alive or dead. The mists...in my dreams...and in my waking moments...are only a prelude to a much more horrific event I've discovered. Zero's death....the graveyard...this is why I fear the mist...I feel...like everytime I wander through it...I'll lose everything I care about...I can't describe the feeling in words...but I have to about it...I won't let them die...I will go on...I will be strong...And I will survive. For them. |

Journal Entry #19: 25 February 1891 Ghosts. You never seem to ever get away from them. After the graveyard, Sean, Mike and I all went to Saffron. Sean bought a knife and I bought an Aikushi and traded in the mace I took from that Oni that assualted Sally. The Aikushi will be very useful later on. Or...so I feel. It's also a way to fufill a bit of the promise I made Ninja. We went outside and a lady bustled past us. She looked troubled. So, we followed her.
She went inside this old rickety looking house. A "do not enter" sign awaited at the door. She ran back out and we followed her again. When we finally caught her, I asked her to take us with her. She did and we met her grandmother who told us about that house we passed. It was haunted and she was the only survivor. The rest of her family disappeared. We went to investigate for her.

After returning from the house and reporting to Mrs. Uboshita, we went to Lavender. It...was time.... |

Journal Entry #20: 25 February 1891 It's time. Arrving at the Lavender Pokemon Center quickly enough, Black sniffed out Ninja's door. I roused him and together we went to wake Zero up. We met with Sean. Ninja wanted us to go to the Lavender Cafe, so we did. Once there, Ninja asked a photographer named Mike to take our picture. There'd be one for each of us. If...all of us came back. There was no doubt that this experience would change us, though for better or worse I knew not...
We all went to the Pokemart after that. We bought supplies, and then...set out. Sean and Zero rode on Drago. I rode on Joy and Ninja, Hate. We had agreed for a spot far from anyone else, so it was to the Sea Foam Islands we rode. We spotted a relatively small island. It was only a field. It reminded my of something...but of what...I can't recall. We landed there. It was time.
Ninja called forth Palkia from his space. He stepped through a massive portal and onto the field. Space whirled behind him until the portal snapped shut. Sean left it to me to call Mew. I called it and a bird dove out of the sky to transform and stop in front of me. Mew. Zero then called Dialga to us. He entered through another magnificent portal with the histories of all time flowing behind him. The portal snapped shut as well.
They were assembled. Dialga and Palkia exchanged words. Things grew tense...but were soon eased by Dialga's laugh. After they were done talking, Mew told us about the battle. They would restrain Giratina and it was left to us to deal him damage. Palkia tore a rift in space and drew Giratina through it. Dialga restrained him. Giratina...he tempted Zero...with power...with love...with everything someone could ever want, but...in the end, Zero stood by our sides steadfast. Giratina grew enraged and called forth his minions from the Distortion World. Darkrai, Spiritomb, Dusknoir...all came at us.
Mew dove in front of us and called down three massive meteors to strike the dark minions. They collided into them and Giratina grew enraged. He attacked. All of us fought, but Fluffy fell early on...In the end, with everyone's help we defeated Giratina. Shadow dealt the final blow. Giratina fell. Palkia and Dialga held him down while Mew called a hail of meteors to finish Giratina. We've won...
Dialga and Palkia said their good-byes and left quickly enough, their parts done. Zero...he asked about Rochelle. Mew had the answer this time. The rift Giratina had come through was still open...an ocean of white flowed towards us. Figures grew distinguishable and a man stepped through...or more, his spirit. He faded and was taken away on the wind....
Rochelle came forward. Zero was happy to see her...I was glad for him..but...she was white like the man and like the others coming through the rift and disappating onto the winds. I knew what this meant...and was sad. Zero and Rochelle had a moment...I felt like I was intruding. Rochelle came over to myself and Ninja and gave me a hug and gave Ninja a kiss. She thanked us. For saving Zero.
Zero held Rochelle until she too departed on the winds. Ninja and I both went over to him and hugged him. We spoke to him. Tried to help. Mew, who had not left, told Zero of his deeds and praised him. Ninja and I stood and offered our hands to Zero. I wondered if he'd blow me off...again...like in the graveyard, but he did not. He took our hands and stood. We went over to Sean next and thanked him. This all...we wouldn't have made it without him...I was happy to have met him.
We turned to Mew next. It spoke to us. Zero...Sean...Ninja...And myself. I...hugged Mew. I couldn't stop crying...I was sad...glad...relieved...and so lost all at the same time. Mew had said to never question my place here in this world...because I matter more than I think....I hope that's true. Mew will always be watching over me. Mew eventually left us, and we were alone on the island. Ninja....his darkness.....Zero...and his darkness....Sean....and...me.
I went over to Fluffy, who had fallen. I hugged him tightly. I'd failed...in protecting him for Mew...but maybe it wasn't too late to save him...I took off on Joy and flew to Cinnebar where Fluffy was rushed into intensive care. I was sitting on a bench when Ninja and Sean came in to sit next to me. Ninja tried to comfort me..but...I was too far..gone...
Nurse Joy returned. I looked at her as she came. She sat on our bench. I looked down. Fluffy was dead. It had to be...Hot tears ran down my cheeks and onto the floor. I was a failure...! I couldn't save anything...could I? Nurse Joy...she described the situation to me...but...Fluffy...had survived...as if by a miracle...I burst into tears again, but not of sorrow...of joy...Fluffy...
I will...do anything...be anything...to protect the ones I love....I don't want them to suffer anymore. Ever again. Ninja...or Zero...or my pokemon... I'll go on in this world..to be there for them...to protect them...to save them...to love..my family. |
