Hello everyone. This thread is designed to provide you with an example of how to make a RMT topic. RMTs are designed to allow you to post your team (or parts of it) and get advice from the rest of us. I've provided an example for you to follow using one of my more successful teams. Make sure that you explain your reasoning so we can better understand your thought process and how to help you. The more information you give us, the better.

Team at a glance:
Overview:
This was a very offensive team I built for my first series of videos. I wanted a team that would be quick and make for some interesting battles, while still having a solid defensive core. Since Garchomp was a major threat at the time, all of my sweepers aim to outspeed it, and I chose to keep the team fairly fast in general. I knew I would have problems with heavy stall, but was confident that I could deal with most threats if I played smartly.
In-depth analysis:
The Shadow the Gengar @ leftovers
Timid
Levitate
6hp, 252 sp atk, 252 spd
Substitute
Disable
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
Gengar was the first member of this team. I knew that I wanted to use it on my first serious team in Gen V as it has always been one of my favorite pokemon. Since disable received an accuracy boost this gen, I decided to run a set featuring it. Genar is one of my sweepers but his main purpose is scouting and general harassment. As such, he often ends up in the lead spot. The EVs are very straight forward, max speed to outrun anything up to base 109 and also out speed Latios if it’s running hidden power fire (since you must have an even speed IV to get HP fire, meaning it can’t have 31 speed IVs).
Spike the Ferrothron @ leftovers
Sassy
Iron Barbs
252 hp, 48 def, 208 sp def
Leech Seed
Stealth Rock
Protect
Power Whip
Ferrothorn is the first of my defensive trio. I knew I wanted him right away for his fantastic ability to support the rest of the team. He can lay entry hazards and limit the number of turns potentially threatening sweepers can stay in thanks to leech seed. I chose to run protect over gyro ball since I wanted the ability to scout choice users (pokemon with the item choice specs, band, or scarf) and Ferrothorn isn’t in to do a lot of damage anyhow. The EVs aim to make sure he’s well covered in both defenses, though he’s slightly more specially bulky.
Spook the Rotom-W @ leftovers
Bold
Levitate
128 hp, 234 def, 148 spd
Hydro Pump
Volt Switch
Wil-O-Wisp
Pain Split
Rotom has fairly good synergy with Ferrothorn and it’s a great check to many of the popular pokemon in the metagame such as Tyranitar (a non-boosting one) and Gliscor. My rotom also provided the team’s only source of status in Will-O-Wisp, which can be used to cripple physical threats. I actually customized this EV set in order to provide more physical bulky as well as a little extra speed. This allows me to out speed other Rotom with a similar set by one point and hit them with a SE volt switch as I go into another team member. Rotom also provides my second and most crucial ground immunity.
Cheese the Espeon @ Light Clay
Timid
Magic Bounce
252 hp, 6 sp atk, 252 spd
Light Screen
Reflect
Morning Sun
Psychic
Espeon is the final member of my support team. It serves as a kind of technician. While it wasn’t useful in every match, it served a very important role. With its ability Magic Bounce, it’s able to completely shut down annoyers on the opposing team, Whimsicot and Breloom being chief among them. It also grants me status immunity as long as I am able to predict properly. Finally, it sets up screen which are important in allowing my main sweeper to come in and set up. The EVs provide as much bulk as I could get it, without sacrificing the ability to get my screens up as fast as possible.
Bad Horse the Terakion @ Air Balloon
Jolly
Justified
252 atk, 6 def, 252 spd
Sword Dance
Rock Polish
Close Combat
Stone Edge
This is my main sweeper. After Miles destroyed me with him a few months ago, I knew I wanted to try him out. Screens from Espeon are designed to give him his best opportunity to set up and the Air Ballon makes him an ok check to Excadrill, assuming I don’t get flinched by Rock Slide. The two set-up moves allow me the option of picking the one I need more, though Swords Dance is the preferred option. Nature and EVs allow me to out speed Chomp, Mence, as well a lot of other threats between the 100-109 bracket.
Dozer the Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Adamant
Snow Cloak
6 hp, 252 atk, 252 spd
Icicle Crash
Earth Quake
Ice Shard
Stone Edge
Mamoswine was the last member added to the team. He essentially functioned as dragon insurance, able to come in and OHKO just about any dragon in the game. On top of that STAB Earthquake coming off his impressive attack stat is going to hurt just about everything. Mamoswine is also the only priority user on this team, meaning that keeping him alive if I spot speed boosters or suspected scarfer a top priority. Mamoswine usually comes in late game to clean up the leftovers, since he can’t really take a hit. EVs and nature are simply to make sure he’ll out speed anything that hasn’t invested while providing the highest attack possible.
Closing Comments:
After playing with this team some, I really liked it. I found Gengar and Ferrothorn to be by far the most useful members. Mamoswine and Terrakion did ok. Terrakion often had trouble sustaining a sweep due to the prevalence of sand however. Rotom was great at shutting down a few key threats, but otherwise didn't do a whole lot. Espeon was probably the least useful. There were a few key matches where it played a pivotal role, but I often found it to be the first thing I sacrificed, so improvements to it would be appreciated.
