Info:
Region: Hoenn
Time: 2015
Groups: tba
- Before beginning play in the region. Players MUST choose one of two factions to side with. One side will be run by Fox and Ninja, the other by Shark and Mike. All four of us will co-ordinate on major story elements. You are still free to interact with the other players, even if they're not in your group. This is a difference in ideologies, not a full blown war.
- Each team will play on different days or in different chats, with their missions being run by their AGs. Each group will have it's own story lines, NPCs, and moral dilemmas. However, it will also be possible to play together with any of the AGs. The plan though, is to keep party size to four people or lower.
- Everyone will now level at the same rate to keep things even and make it easier for new players to jump in. Running missions will result in better loot and items, more pokemon, and a better understanding of the story, but not being overleved or overpowered. Level days will be Wednesday and Saturday.
- Pokemon levels will be kept roughly on par to make things more interesting, though obviously being more active will give you a slightly edge in levels. Nothing insurmountable though.
- PvP will be a much bigger part of the game. The groups will meet on designated "battle days" with the winners getting a special item or taking control of a new territory or getting a shot to encounter a legendary pokemon (later in the game). There may also be local tournaments hosted from time to time. Players CANNOT be killed in PvP combat.
- This is almost a complete wipe. Players may bring only 1 of their starters. It does not devolve, but it does de-level, back down to five. No items or weapons may be brought, though personal effects are ok.
- Characters can now only carry two weapons on them at a time.
- Everyday missions will refocus on the everyday activities that make up the pokemon world. Things like, battling, exploring, trading, and meeting new people. More emphasis on pokemon less on powering through a mission for a level, or overindulgent melodrama. Have fun, remember THIS IS A GAME don't take it personally.
- Skills will no longer be linked to levels or stats. They will now take a training commitment to complete, with low level skills becoming available quickly, while high level skills will require more time to complete.
