Remember these? I've gotten bored with training and all so i decided to do a nuzlocke journey on pokemon emerald. i will update here of what i did about once a day.
These Are My Rules
1. Once a pokemon dies i release it (Duh)
2. No box pokemon
3. Can't have 2 of the same type (Grass/fighthing and Grass. Flying/Grass and Grass/Fighting Ok)
4. No soft reset

Day 1
I start off my Journey.
After riding in the back of a moving truck (Child sevices came and took me away) i went to check out my new house. Not the greatest but i didnt care cause i was just gonna leave anyways. I decided to meet my new neighbors. As soon as I walk in some woman charges to meet me, she asked me to go meet her daughter upstairs. As soon as i went up the stairs she came bolting at me, we talked and i learned her name was May. She wanted to catch them all, after a little conversation she left and so did I.
I heard cries of help from outside of the town and i went to go check it out. it was a man being attacked by a zigzagoon. I ran to his bag and grabbed a pokeball and tossed it. Out came a mudkip, I used him to help defeat the zigzagoon, after the incident the man asked me to follow him to his lab. It turns out it was professer Birch. After he saw me battle with mudkip he let me keep him as my first pokemon. I decided to name him Socrates as he told me to go meet her daughter, May on Route 103, how could i refuse? I walked up there, it took a bit i had to go through Oldale Town which was very quiet. I made up the long Route to meet her on the top. She immediatly noticed i had a pokemon and demanded a battle. She sent out her Treecko, great my weakness. I sent out Socrates and i beat her easily. i knew i could beat her with Socrates.
After her defeat she told me to go back to the lab, So after the hike back down the route to Littleroot Town we entered the lab. We walked to the back and he gave us our pokedexs. We went out seperate ways and i headed to petalburg city, I met up with my dad. Oh i forgot i caught a Ralts and named her Lily.I met up with my dad and we talked a but about pokemon when some noob came in wanting help to get a pokemon. Wally was his name and he was more pale than the moon. And i had to acompany him. Atleast he caught his fast and I could finally make my way to Rustboro City.
I walked along the paths, watching others battle looking out into the sea, Then i look ahead. I notice woods...the only way to Rustboro is through them..I walk in and as soon as i walk into the grass a shroomish comes out and battles me, i manage to capture it as i continue to walk through the woods. After a bit of wandering i run into a man looking for a shroomish. I was about to offer him mine when a thug in weird clothing came out and asked for the goods. goods? i couldn't let the thug get these "goods" so i battled him, i tried out shroomish and after a long fought battle, the shroomish died from his poocheyna. Socrates finished it but it was upseting cause i just got it. The man thanked me and gace me a great ball. He left me to rustboro and i found another shroomish. I was determined to let this one live and i managed to catch it and i named it Kylie, i was hoping to name it Kyle if it was a boy. I wandered through the thick brush and i saw a light in this dark, gloomy forest. I walk to the light and......(To be continued another day)

Day 2
I walked toward the light and I came out the other side and i could see Rustboro, just across this bridge and I can go heal and challenge the gym. I sprint across the bridge limiting my encounters and i make it to the PC. I heal up and head straight to the gym, i walk into the gym as it is dry and i can see rocks all around me with a little maze i had to go through. There she was, the leader, Roxanne. She was just standing there waiting, I walked up to her and introduced myself to her and she accepted my gym challenge. I sent out Kylie and she sent her geodude, I professionaly took down her geodude with ease as she sent out another geodude which i took out with ease as well. Then she sent out nosepass. I knew i needed Socrates to do this one and i sent him out. The battle between them was intense. We both delt attacks that damage but it was going nowhere until water gun got a crticical hit and took it down. Thats when she accpeted defeat and thats when Socrates started to glow, it was evolving. I couldnt believe it already it became a marshtomp. She had given me the badge and i made my way north thinking thats the way i should go, thats when i saw the thug running away and the man from the forest chasing him. The thug was getting away so he asked me if i could help him by getting the goods he stole. Wanting to help i agreed to help him. I went along the route until i saw a cave and an old man came up to me and begged me to help him get back is Wingull from the thug. Ok, first some goods and now a pokemon, its done with him. I walked in the cave and saw him immediatly. I encountered him and he kept backing away until he sent out his poocheyna. Socrates took it down quickly and he gave back the goods and the old man got his wingull back. The old man told me he would take me to dewford and slateport whenever i wanted to so i knew it was a good idea helping them. I went back to the man and i gave back his goods. Then he told me to follow him back to his boss to reward me, my luck is golden right about now. I talked to his boss and as a gift he gave me a pokenav, it was like a cell phonje with a map of the whole region on it. I thanked him and he gave me a letter to a man named Steven and the Devon Goods which was what the thugs were after saying they wouldnt expect me to have the Devon Goods, he wanted me to take the goods to Capt. Stern in Slateport City. I decided to take up the old man on his offer and i went to his house outside of the forests which was easier going through this time.
I went into the old mans house and he told me he would set sail whenver i wished, we went off. I could feel the wind in my face off the starboard bow and it was refreshing from the humid, warm Hoenn air. I got off the boat and i went into the cave after looking in the houses noticing Steven no where to be seen, i went into the cave and caught a zubat, which i started to train, only to be killed by a makuhita on its second battle. I didnt like having to see my pokemon die but i had no other choice. I went down deeper in the cave and i couldnt see, it was dark when i was ambushed by a Aron which i caught and was killed by another makuhita, my luck with new pokemon was turning shitty.
I kept exploring when another Aron attacked me and i caught, determined to not let it die this time. I kept looking in the cave until i went up again and after wanbdering blindly i went up, and down, up, and down until i was back into the main room of the cave but i was higher up. Exploring the upper half i noticed a room to the left and i decided maybe Steven was in there. Indeed he was in there and i gave him the letter, He noticed me and said he hoped to see me to try to become champion. He gave me his favorite TM, Steel wing, his favorite move for going out of my way to give him the letter. I exited the cave not wanting to go back. I decided to challenge the gym now knowing that Lily would be able to do this with ease.
When i walked in the gym it wasnt what u expected. it was all dark, and another maze. Great. This one was even worse than the one in Rustboro. After battling the trainers in the gym and going out to heal i made it up to the gym leader. Brawly. He looked like he was in his early 20s like a college student. He accepted my gym challegen as he led with a machop and i sent out Lily, One confusion was enough to bring it down as he sent out a meditite, i switched out to Aron why it used detect which was a relief for me. After a slow battle Aron took down meditite. Now it was time for his makuhita which i sent in Lily hoping to take it down 1,2,3.
Lily was much faster and Makuhita would deal damage but i had plenty of potions to help with the battle, none of my pokemon died in the battle and i got the Knuckle Badge. Brawly thanked me for the awsome challenge as i left the gym leader. One step closer to becoming the champion, one step closer to becoming the strongest trainer.

Day 3
I must of fell asleep on the boat cause it seemed in a blink of an eye i was in Slateport, i thanked the old man and went up the beach in to town, It wasnt until i got near the museum i noticed atleast 10 people who were dressed up like the thug that tried to steal the devon goods, i thought nothing of it and i went to go look for Capt. Stern, it turns out a man told me he should be in the museum and i went there, none of the thugs were around so i thought it would be and easy job, but then i realized, the same thug is here. I just ignored him not wanting him to get suspicious i went up the stairs and i found a man examining a model boat. It turns out it is Capt. Stern and i gave him the devon goods.
Thats when shit went bad, 2 of the funny looking thugs came up the stairs and demanded the parts, knowing that these people will only use the parts for no good I protected him and I had to battle them. They both had carvanahs but with Kylie it was easily taken care of, just when i thought it would only be easy. Kylie evolved just in time when one of the different looking thugs approached me, it turns out he was the leader, Archie and his group Team Aqua needed these parts to expand the sea unlike there rivals, Team Magma, who wants to expand land. Ok, here we go. An all out war is brewing and i dont know if i can stop it or if it'll only get worse and worse. I left the museum and I ran into Prof. Birch. Turns out he was looking for May but realized we werent traveling together and he registered me in his pokenav. I continued up the route and i noticed an out of place house, i asked an older woman and she told me it was the trickmasters house. Being curious i went inside.
Feeling i was being watched i looked for someone inside, i looked around and i found a man disguised near a table, turns out it was the trickmaster and i took his challenge. Oddly enough i had to go through a scroll and it was maze with trees. Cutting down trees one by one i managed to find a secret code that i need to pass this challenge, finding the door i enter the code, slowly the door opened and I walked down a hallway, old, cold, and seemed like it wasnt passed through much, getting through it was a relief and for beating his challenge he gave me a rare candy and told me to come back later and to do another challenge.
I walk out of the house confused but accomplished i decided to go up the route to get to Mauville City for my 3rd gym badge. That is until I ran into May, eager as she always is she wants a battle. Knowing I couldn't lose with my strong pokemon none of my pokemon were near death as she lost easily, she accepted defeat and gave me an itemfinder, whatever. I went up the route and I had finally reached Mauville City and went straight to the gym and....

Day 4 ( I would recommend not reading this all in 1 session)
This is gonne be a long one I suppose. I guess i'll just get into it.
When i approach the gym i noticed a boy and most likely a dad standing in the way of the gym, i walked up would just ask to enter. Oh joy, it turned out to be Wally. What could this albino be doing in Mauville? He's been a trainer for like 3 hours. Turns out he wanted to battle me to prove his Uncle that he's good enough, yeah right, like i'm gonna let this kid win, so i send out Kylie and in about 40 seconds his ralts is down and Kylie evolved into a breloom, perfect for the next gym. Wally seemed upset but he shoulnd't of expected to beat me, so him and his uncle just went back to there home in some city west of here.
I walk into the gym and almost get shocked so I knew from the get-go i would make sure to watch my step, I slowly went past the the electric barriers and battled the trainers and made it up to the leader, Watson was his name and he seemed the most layed back than the other gym leaders i've battled. I sent out Socrates and swept him with a only mud shot, execpting in what i thought, a humilitaing defeat i got my badge and decided to make my way to Lavaridge Town to get my 4th badge.
Well that plan I had of just walking over there 1,2. Well it didn't go down as well, so instead of taking the ski lift to the mountain top and walk down a path, well i had to do some other stuff first. Great. In front of the entrance to the ski lift were 2 team magma goons not letting anyone pass until there boss gets back, so i thought i could just go around, so i took a path through a cave which was scorching, i made it through all sweaty and hot i was immediatly attacked by a numel that i caught and named Roxanne, no reason behind it, just felt like it. I continued up the path, then i noticed a route entirely buried in ash from the volcano, which i thought i would get the black lung walking through it but i made it through with almost coughing my lungs out. Thinking i made it to lava ridge i made it to Fallarbor Town, ok, maybe just another little detour and then i can get to Lavaridge.
So i went south and found a mountain range that i thought i could go over and make it, i entered a cave system which was beautiful with the waterfalls flowing and the river as clear as air itself and i just wanted to swim in it when i noticed more magma thugs surronding a scientist. Thinking i could convince them to let those idiots move i could take the ski lift and get there an easier route. I walked up to them and they were asking for the meteorite and I guess they had got there hands on it because they seemed satisfied when they left, not before Team Aqua came and drove them out, Archie came up to me and told me more about Team Magma and how they wanted to put the meteorite into the volcano to make it erupt creating more land mass. I don't want either of these teams to achieve there foney "Goals" so i just wanted to stop Team Magma and Team Aqua.
I decided to admire the cave system even more, I later learned it was called Meteor Falls, i noticed all the pokemon living in it, wanting to just float away in the water I had to leave and stop Team Magma. I made it all the way back through to scroching cave system, through the ash route and turned out the thugs were out of the way, now to make my way up the mountain and stop this.
I made it to the top, And all i could notice are botht the teams fighting and poocheynas biting each other in battle, blood drops were on the rocks, I saw a man that looked like an Admin or leader so I went up to them wanting to end this battle, i went demolished grunts that stood in my way and made it up to the man, Archie was his name, the leader of Team Magama. His intentions of increasing land mass seemed as stupid as Team Aquas as expanding the sea, He challenged me to a battle where i easily beat him as he was no match. He accpeted defeat and was questioning how someone my age was so strong. I guess i'm an natural.
Both of the teams left and i finally made it down the path and took my first steps into the small town of Lavaridge....
