Participating in the frontier:
When facing a frontier brain, you may use up to six Pokemon at your discretion. Brain may only use Pokemon that fit their theme, however they are not limited to just one type. Frontier battle are matches, meaning you must win two out of three battles to be the winner. Neither player may change their team between battles. After a frontier battle, the brain will post the result on the result page, in a manner similar to this.
(Frontier Brain Name) Vs. (Challengers Name) Winner = (Enter winner here)
Frontier Brain notice: You must make your rules convenient. A simple thread stickied labeled as your rules will apply. You may create your own banlist, as long as it is not obviously biased in your favor. You must allow your opponent to use the same number of 'big legends' as you.
Rewards:
After beating a brain for the first time, you will get a bronze symbol for that brain. You must wait at least one week to re-challenge. Your second win will result in a silver symbol. Your third win in a gold symbol.
In addition, it is possible to win your way into a frontier brain position. If you beat a brain in 3-4 official matches at anytime, you can claim their position for your own. However, if you lose two or more matches between your victories, you'll have to start over (you will not lose your symbols, only your progress at taking over their position) If you win a spot, you DO NOT have to keep the previous brain's theme and arena. You're free to design your own.
Frontier Brain Absence rules:
1) Gym leaders or Elite 4 members who do not come on-site for 2 weeks without any kind of warning are out. It's not hard to punch in the address and just look to see what's happening.
2) If you're going to be away or busy, tell the rest of the community.
3) If you're going to be busy to the point where you won't be able to battle or take challenges for more than 6 weeks, you may need to take a temporary leave of absence.
4) If you going to be gone for more than 2 months, you will be asked to resign your post.
5) If you want to make a new team, fine, but you MAY NOT close your gym / Elite 4 room to challengers while you train a new team. Use your old team until the new one is ready (obviously if your game gets wiped like RT we will make an exception).
6) "I don't feel like it." Is not a legitimate excuse to decline a match. All challenges must be met within a week of their issuing. If you fail to meet the challenge without a valid excuse, the challenger is awarded a default victory.
Attention Frontier Brains:
You must sign below stating that you have read and agree to these rules before you will be given your position.
