Ragnarok Online (Animus RO server)

Well, enough of us play it (Neutral, M(iles), Mike, and myself of course) so I decided to make a thread.

It's a basic MMO with multiple classes. There is a story and quests, but 95% of the players don't even glance at it. (It is rather interesting though.)

It's rather simple though, pretty much the monster population has grown in recent time in the monarch nation of Rune Migard, and the theocratic nation of Schwartzenfeld. (Your home nation is always Rune Migard, you don't get to chose) Both of these nations start training adventurers and guards to fight them off. Your charactor is some form of adventurer with a class.

You start off as a Novice, and from there can advance to a 1st class or an extended class.
First classes include:

• Swordsman
  
• Thief
  
• Mage
  
• Archer
  
• Acolyte
  
• Merchant

Extended classes include:

• Ninja
  
• Gunslinger
  
• Taekwon Boy (Girls are taekwon boys too for some reason, but their sprites aren't male.)

From a first class, after obtaining a high enough level, you can progress to a 2nd class.

• Swordsman can become either a Knight or Crusader
  
• Thief can become either an Assassin or Rogue
  
• Mages can become either a Wizard or Sage
  
• Archers can become either a Hunter or Bard (if male)/Dancer if female)
  
• Acolytes can become either a Preist or Monk
  
• Merchants can become either a Blacksmith or Alchemist

Taekwon Boys can also become a second class: either a Soul Linker, or Star Gladiator.

This a private server, RO's pretty old but when we used to do Private servers back in the day it was super fun, my Crusader was a monster.

I know RO is old, I've been playing for 3 years, Neutral has for 6. (I think it's about 8-10 years old now)
And yea that's a private server.

They've added a ton since you've played.

I'm guessing no 3rd classes to it? And you said low rates like how low :S?

The rates are 5x/5x/3x

No 3rd classes on this server. I don't quite remember the episode it's on, but it's rather close to the renewal, but when I've talked to any of the GMs or PRs, they don't seem like they'll be implimenting the 3rd classes. (they probably will be eventually, but kicking and screaming most likely)

Anyway, with the rates in place, getting a 99/70 trans to start with should be enough of a challenge that if 3rd classes will be released here, they should be released by the time you finish with that.
