Backstory:
Max is the son of Barbas and grew up in Johto, his mother died when he was young so he remembers little of her and his father raised him to fight. He didn't take to it at first, but he learned quickly and was soon given a Meditite from his fighting master as a partner and they quickly became close friends as they trained. He quickly became the strongest of his masters pupils and he vowed to protect anyone in any possible way that he could. He was a peaceful soul so he never killed anyone unless he absolutely had too.
One day he was sparring with one of the other pupils and he killed him by accident, his father was ashamed of what he did and disowned him. No one really blamed him for what happened but Max left shortly after this incident with his trusty partner Meditite and headed to kanto to do some solitary training, since he took a liking to what he has previously been doing back where he lived. Before he left his master gave him his black belt, since he respected Max too much to let him leave without it.
Max never blamed his father for disowning him he was a kindhearted person, he never held grudges. Hes pretty easy to get along with and makes new friends easily. He found leaving as another challenge for him to do and with his trusty partner he could conquer anything in his way, and so he started his journey to get stronger and also to travel to see new things and possibly meet new people.
