i have a crazy idea that will probadly never leave ist first form(dream)
is it possible to make a pokemon rpg without paying copyright shit to nintendo
because that is the idea-to make a pokemon rpg covering all 4 regions
(iknow crazy but cool)
any coments including that i am crazy/dreamer r okay
and i am expecting nothing from this but.................
also fyi i am a almost 16 soph in high school who knows squat about programing (besides on a ti)

Then just try it out.
The programs are readily available and there are hundreds of Pokemon hack games for the GBA and GBC in rom form online.
But don't think the game would be a crazy innovation or anything.
Like I said, fan made Pokemon games are nothing new at all, they've existed for years.
Editing maps is extremely easy, but you would most likely rage quit at scripts. Making simple yes/no scripts or item scripts is easy, but trying to create a story superscript will piss you off unless you have previous experience in programming.
I don't know programming languages, but I do have a bit of experience in programming Pokemon games and other simple games.

HONESTLY, it's impossible a for a middle class teenager with no help or experience to make a Pokemon MMORPG by themselves, UNLESS it was an EXTREMELY shitty one.
I'm just being honest here.

also i am willing to learn which is something i am good at (normally) (and self teaching to but......) it would be a big project but i want to be a game designer or a math teacher sooooooooo..........(i would prefer game desgner) i have to try some time

There are already downloadable Pokemon MMORPG's out there.
They are all terrible and no one plays them.
Unless you had an extremely high amount of money, you couldn't make anything more than a rehash of what is already out there.
Even with the money, the game would probably end up catching the attention of Nintendo.
