it would be based on points
+10-win
+10-win in type disadvantage
+5-type disadvantage(lose)
+2-one left on enemy team when lost
+3-above with type disadvantage
-1-uber
other things can be made up to make more points

I think the next tournament should be for the whole site. I'd be fun to do a draft. That is, no one can have the same pokemon on their teams. After everyone signs up, we communally rank all the members participating. The lowest ranked person gets the first choice of any pokemon that is not in the Ubers teir. Once that pokemon is chosen, no one else can use it. Once everyone has a full team picked we set the match-ups and see who comes out on top.

Ninja that is an excellent idea, I wanted to be in the tournement but I didn't want it just to be one type thing gym leader tourney.....

For this tournament, we already have a point system that was distributed throughout the judges. That is how we determine who wins.

i dont like it
no offence
but it isnt great for everyone
not everyone has a wide selection of high lvl/well trained pokemon
i dont
i have some but not alot
i offen play the entire game without getting any pokemon much over their highest evolve lvl \
(besides my main team)
also i suck at training fast
it takes me forever to train a team al the way
if we all could do it it would be great but it wont work for some of us

i know
but it will be limited
not many people can join if they will have to choose from a limited number of pokemon
like say they only have one pokemon that knows good fire moves
however they start with the pokemon that knows their only good water type moves
then they r in trouble
