Just wondering what the differnce between a Global Mod and a regular Mood are?

Global Mod have more power. They can do more stuff but not as powerful as a Admin. So the tier ranking for staffs would be Admin, Global Mod, Mod. But both Global Mod and Mods are here to help you, it's just that Global Mod's have more flexibility.

Global Moderators have more control over the admin functions. They are basically like a combination of a Moderator and a Forum Mechanic. So basically the Global Moderators have more power. Moderators on the other hand. They only have limited powers to be able to control topics and ban users. Things such as stickying, locking, banning, and all that can be done by a Moderator.
Like Miles said, both of them are staff and both are here to help members. Global Moderator just has a little more mechanical power.
