It kind of bugs me.
Look, BOTH players are allowed to use legendaries, then it's completely fair, no matter what the set up is.

As long as they both play by the set rules, then there is nothing wrong.

There are tons of people who whine saying "LEGENDARIES AREN'T FAIRZ" or "I spend all my time training my non-legendary pokemon and you battle me with legendaries? What the hell man?"

But yeah, those people are annoying.
Anything that is allowed by the rules should be expected.

If you have a complaint about the rules, don't be a pretentious whiny child. Just tell us politely.

I think the main complaint is that if the other person uses Ubers it basically forces you to use them as well. Sure you CAN use your Noctowl and Venomoth against a Rayquaza, you're just going to be at a severe disadvantage.

But still Ninja, if they go into an official battle under rules which allow legendaries, they have no right to complain when the opponent uses legendaries.

Wow really there is no defense for using a wheelchair when your able to walk. Same goes for legenaries in pokemon, no excuse when there are other choices that are fair. Its a rule setting in all the games STANDARD is no special pokemon which is what they call legends for rules. Also smogon has uber list right. Do not give me that were seperate from them crap because that doesn't argue the fact that there right.

Think of it this way. You know already that they'll be using legendaries for the battle, think of it like a challenge to see if your worth having the badge. For normal trainers who use them, I have nothing to support you with though....But gym leaders already have the one type disadvantage thing anyways so give them a break.

It is not that much of a disadvantage only slight. It is just stupid to use the ones classified as uber. I fought ninja he used 3 legends non-uber and it felt way more fair to my team of lowers.

I'm just playing devil's advocate. I don't care what you use. I have a team that uses ubers, just stating the overall reasoning behind banning some pokemon. It really does cut down on diversity, but as someone who uses mostly OU pokes (who also happen to be some of my favs), I don't really have any space to complain.

There are always ways to beat Ubers. Sure they have a huge advantage, but that makes you the better trainer if you can beat them regardless.
