The staff have decided to assign two new gym spots the two new leaders are: Pope: Water gym Metal_Coat: Ice gym I will create space for you on the boards. You will need to complete your rules and challenger list and open up as soon as you can. Also let me know what you'd like your catch phrase to be (on the board title) and think of a badge name. |

Good Morning everyone. This is very interesting and a great opportunity indeed. Thanks for the update guys. I had a few questions just to be clear. When one battles you, he or she must battle with the same types i.e. all Fighting types or Water types. Also, can a gym leader have the same types like for instance two or more ground types like Dugtrio and Dophan, I know this is like a duhh question, but I just want to make sure. Just wanted to get a better understanding and not assume anything. Thanks fellas.

So for instance, if you're using a ground type team, all of the pokemon should be at least part ground. Dual types like Nidoking, Gliscor, or Swampert are fine. |

That makes sense as long as you could use single and dual types but as long as the Pokemon match the type you're representing in a battle. Appreciate the clarification fellas.

So in order to battle a gym leader you would the same type of pokemon as your teams as in your whole team needs to be related to the gym type or is that when u become gym leader?

When you BECOME a leader. When you battle a leader you may use any team you want. This thread is just for those who want to become a leader.

Good luck to all the people who are tying out There will most likely never be a second league for a few reasons. - It's hard enough to keep the current league going in the first place. Due to the fact that there are not enough active members yet.
- It would take up too much space on the forum. Also, too many people would start asking to have a spot (when there isn't a tryout/gym leader tournament going on). Which is not how it works.
- Pokemon type choices will eventually get cramped; people would become discouraged due to this factor. What I mean by this is ultimately the lack of choices later on. People will want to be "this type" but "that type" is already taken. Then they will be left with lets say, 3 possible choices which they don't want.
